*she frowns slightly at Tegeus before replying to ellie as she gathers out a bottle of wine from her bag*

"oh i don't know.. removing flees from a cat might be something the Mother of cats' faithful enjoys."

The man scowls at the flea-ridden cat and turns to glare down at Eleanor. He keeps his distance, and carefully keeps his wool cloak away from other such materials in the room. "Bring the Bastite Priestesses if ye like... something of use for them to do..." The man mutters derisively and reaches for a flask at his belt and hands it to Eleanor.

*Young squire looks at the flask and shakes her head* "I don't drink. My father was a drunk."

*Eleanor looks between Erza and Tegeus* "I think Brother Ameris can manage the fleas on his own. He took care of his scalp already."

The cat has woken up form its slumber. It feels a bit safe in the kitchen and is therefore not that much alerted to Eleanor and Erza but its ears twitch each time at Tegeus' booming voice. Registering the people to not be threats, it begins to wash itself calmly. It seems to have no knowledge of the horrible bath in preparation for it.

Ameris returns with a blanket, the brush left upstairs for the bath. He surveys the new arrivals. "Well met." he says with a smile as he hurries back into the kitchen, with the intent of handing the blanket to Eleanor.

With tactics and combined force, Eleanor and Ameris managed to flank the poor flearidden cat in the kitchen as it was washing itself. It realized too late what was going on and by then, Eleanor had it in a firm grip and it was then bundled up in a blanket held by Ameris. The priest swiftly ran upstairs to the bath with it.

Whilst the priest continued to hold the cat, Eleanor began to pour a solution on it which would get rid of the fleas and then scrub it clean and finally rinse its fur with water. The cat tried to claw and bite, hiss and cry out loudly. None of this helped and it after some time, it had depleted its energy and let itself be handled. As soon as the involuntary bath was done, it ran off and hid under the washbasins where it gave hateful glares to everyone and hissed angrily. Tegeus watched the whole ordeal along with Telia and there was some clear annoyance from the sorceress directed at the agent of the Doombringer but over what, remained unknown to others.

It was decided to leave the angry cat be. After some time, a druid was consulted who managed to get it out from hiding but the cat refused to be touched or towel dried. Again, the best course of action seemed to be give it some space and time to recover from the ordeal. It is believed that the cat is a male and a certain Tethyrian priest has proclaimed that the beast will be called Silvyr after a famous Tethyrian king. There is hopes that the feline will become a true Temple warrior.

Later in the day, Sister Reine could be heard repeatedly sneezing...

A number of visitors to the Temple can overhear a masked robed woman mopping floors while muttering to herself about exorcisms and shapeshifting imps.

The priest Ameris hurriedly packs for a trip, including a healthy portion of rations. He departs with haste, speaking of duty.

Those familiar with the temple may recognise this as a familiar course of events.

Righteous of the Coast

A new undead menace to all the goodly folk has revealed itself within the Vaults in the Field of the Dead, a skeletal champion warded in golden metal. Instead of outright killing its foes and reanimating them, it uses dark magic to turn them into its unwitting agents that might spy on the land and other righteous organisations. Its exact motives are unknown, but we worry that they will affect the Sword Coast at large.

We had hoped to write this letter with a mind to call the righteous together into a host, composed of many orders and faiths, but one intent - to come together to crusade in fervour, and render holy judgement on this one of the myriad threats that plague the lands.

To remind us all that we are not alone in our service. And to come together not as a series of isolated candles. But as a great, purifying flame.

Whatever lays within the depths, whether lich born of man or draconic, or the golden revenant itself, must be met head on. The evil within the vault must be subjected to righteous judgement. It must be put down for the good of the innocents under threat. It must be illuminated by the unfettered dawn.

It is our hope that you will join together with us under the banners of your Orders and Faiths, so that we may march together to end this menace.

And we pray such holy resolve will spill over into further joint efforts of this nature.

////Hi! We are hoping to run an RP event whereby we get a bunch of holy types together to do some faith RP and, as well, put some hapless undead to the sword!

While we are going to run the RP by the DM team it is likely to be a player driven event only, but the aim is for the various goodly characters on the coast to get together and do something fun.

Once we have an idea of the PCs interested we will set a date. We are thinking a weekend will likely be best, in GMT evening.

A young boy skids to a halt within the temple of Ilmater and he waves a missive in the air that boasts the symbol of Lathander.

He holds it out to Sister Adolina and asks her to pass it to Brother Ameris. "He'll kno wat to do wif it!" He states with a few excited jumps. "But Mister Knight said ta hurry!"
