Seeing as every now and then I get a connection to host found then cannot establish connection in the same attempt, it seems there is a bandwidth issue to the server. Be it host side or server side, something is being flooded (normally a sign of a DDoS).

EDIT: Hm. It does look like a DDOS, unfortunately.

We'll try our best to mitigate it, but please don't plan your next few hours around having a stable connection to the server. I'm sorry for any disappointment this causes.

Hah! Server went down on the day I get my fiancee all set and ready to craft her first character! What an experience this has been! I guess we can wait for it to come up. c:

Any chance we know if they are attacking the server specifically or the network? If server, can we not just iron out the local firewall to drop connections from a list of hosts?

It's slower than a very slow, slow thing.

That's because too much traffic is trying to reach the server. Adventure at your own peril, as is I will be lucky if my Warlock isn't dead.

Still having issues on this end... Looks like we may not be the actual target of the attack? That or they just set it and walked away... In which case the provider is still going to have to be the one to deal with it.

What I don't understand is that things start out okay and then they get progressively worse. So either someone is monitoring activity or je ne sais quoi.
