As disturbed as the Cloakwood may be, outside of the mansion deep within the wood, I have found little there in my patrols that would suggest an undead presence. I'll make an effort to visit more often.

*Seth finishes the mountains of paperwork for the week and begins to read the patrol logs. He frowns and sighs as he reads the latest reports. And then begins to write within the logs*
It is in my opinion, that there is usually some truth in most rumors, and I feel that our presence must once again be felt for all the goodly peoples sake. They must know that we are here for their protection. Which cant be done if those within our ranks are hard to find.
With that bein said, I suggest that we step up our patrols within Cloakwood and all of the areas that the good citizens reside. I understand we are still few, and this will be difficult and time consuming. But we are growing, and our reputation is beginning to precede us.
All of our Knights and squires have done well with this, and my pride in my brothers and sisters grows with each passing day.
Might I suggest an appointed time for all within the order to gather and we will scour the cloakwoods till we find the root of these distressing rumors.

Cloakwood- I continued my patrols later on at differing intervals and I have still found nothing. I believe this may simply be just what it is.. a rumor. As the Commander has ordered we shall continue our normal patrols but remain vigilant just the same as we have always done. If any of the citizens should ask us of these rumors we will gladly be able to tell them our findings to help ease their fears.

A note is sent via courier from the Friendly Arm Inn to the Silver Rose:
To the attention of Haeman,
Regarding the alleged mummy sighting in Cloakwoods, an elf maiden, a hin and myself followed the tracks back to Candlekeep and spoke with Guide Wendel. He told us that an acolyte named Zullo was injured and wrapped in bandages. He left his bed to gather healing herbs from the Cloakwoods. In his state, his gait and bandaged attire could definitely lead the young boy that saw him to believe him to be a mummy. I thought you might want to know our findings.

Knights and Squires,
Today I was walking from the Friendly Arms Inn to Candlekeep. Walkin along the road I was attacked SIX times by bandits, Ogres, and Hill giants. This cannot continue to be allowed I am advising everyone to include this area in their daily patrols, if possible. I understand we have a large area to patrol, but this is a major path of not only citizen traffic but one of commerce as well, and must remain safe to travel.

RE: Triage Encampment for Gullykin
On my patrol today along the roads I bumped into Tildon the merchant, as some of you know him. We spoke extensively about Gullykin and his efforts to help rebuild. I have offered our services once again to set up a Triage encampment to provide relief efforts to the workers and of course the still displaced citizens. He will contact me when the rebuilding project begins and those of us that are able can man the station and help where needed. I'd also like to thank those of you who have been aiding those of Gullykin thus far, i'm certain every little bit helps in their time of need.

Friendly Arm Inn- as I entered the courtyard where the auctioneer was I noticed a young lady laying sprawled out on the ground. She was indeed dead, and a man was haggling with the auctioneer about a raise scroll and just finishing up purchasing it. I offered to help bring her back and with a few grumbles from the man who just paid ofr a scroll it was agreed and with Lathanders blessing life was brought back to the lady.
It appears she was drowned by a water elemental near the pond close by. The others were unsure if they destoryed it. After the lady gave my cloak back I had used to to try to keep her warm and to dry her off I went to patrol. I did not find any water elementals near any of the ponds I know of, but did find one on the beach south of candlekeep.

Rumour has it that the accomplished architect Barbryn Glori is in Baldur's Gate. Her impressive portfolio of past works includes renovations to the Radiant Heart Chapter Headquarters in Athkatla and, more recently, contributions to the reconstruction of the Temple of Gond and several noble estates in the Palace District of the Gate.
Word is she currently works out of an office in the Merchant's League.

However our numbers have grown in abundance in the many months we have been here and we wish to humbly ask for a Writ of Legitimacy and permission to build a Keep upon your lands in the area of the Friendly Arm Inn. We believe this area to be ideal being that it is centrally located with plenty of land as our "patrol" encompasses all the way North and all the way South here on the Sword Coast. *Lady Elvina, Commander of the Order of the Silver Rose was heard speaking to the homeless and displaced workers that Sir Seth had put up for a few nights in the Friendly Arm Inn. She was heard telling them to speak with Mr. Tildon who is looking for workers for the rebuilding of Gullykin who's citzens have been without housing since the war destroyed their city.
Also at the request of Mr. White she explained to them to speak with the contractor Barbryn Glori at the Merchant League to obtain gainful employment, in regards to the need of skilled workers to help with other odd jobs that the Dwarven Master Builders may request for the building of the Order of the Silver Rose Keep.
She also mentioned to Bentley Mirrorshade the possibility of hireing those staying at the inn to help work and clean to help pay for their room and board as they stay at the Inn. *

*Lady Elvina is overheard issueing orders to increase patrols of the roads and within the city to aid the Fist and help to rid the city and roads of any bandits, theaves or other manner of vile creatures, as well as escorting those who wish to travel up and down the sword coast including merchants and caravans needing safe passage. This being, as always, an honor and privledge as they carry out their sworn duty to protect and keep the peace.*
