godko wrote://well my request was only to make the billboard more informative with a slight confusion about familiars i asked a DM where to find it and he said if i was looking for a way to correct it ingame i should try this forum though did not say what post so thought this to be the one
and as for the tent bit was only cause i was waiting for some npcs to stop hitting the high priestess of loith
charator wise i alway set up camp a good place AWAY from the city cause my ranger is not adapted and only enter when he have buisness or the day he arrived when he sleept in the tavern where i havent heard anything about travellers not being aloud to hold pets they just shouldnt walk around freely in the market (or atleast that is what i have been told which is okay since it also would be weird to ban owning a pet in a common house just as long as they dont run around scaring people who come to trade in the city)
so can i be directed to the right place cause i saw it meta gaming to read the little magic book of the laws when there is a billboard about them
1) Sadly the NPCs being aggressive towards the high priestess of lolth is a well-known bug. The best way to avoid it would be to just accept the idol retrieval task instead of trying to steal it.
2) The best way to ask for a "billboard update" is to forward a pm to either the dm group, or the area developer group. Sending it to both would make it even faster.
3) The problem in getting a "pet" (wolf, am I right?) inside a house in Sshamath is that you would still need to enter the city with the pet in tow, which would not be allowed by the guards of the Maelthra.
4) You can roleplay your drow ranger setting up a tent in Varalla's passage, the conclave doesn't care of what you do there that much, unless it is a real threat to the city.
Hope it helps!

//The conversation script in place does allow a peaceful ending even if you attempt to steal the idol,
it just doesn't allow for a peaceful ending if both parties jump onto their high horse of self righteousness

Sorry, is that a response from the development team, or god-modding?

So sorry you didn't get it.

How is the city's ruling on bringing in living creatures? Would it be allowed to bring in for example a displacer beast in a cage or an umberhulk in chains? It's obvious that those are not allowed to be strolling around. But what defines the standard of security to bring them in, so that they won't cause any trouble, or isn't trading or other things with those creatures not allowed within the city?
