A priest walks by the auction, bearing the symbol of the Broken God. His eyes widen at hearing some of the bidding, and some of the fine goods on offer, his eyes drawn to any suits of armour available. He lingers for a few moments. Then his eyes narrow in thought.

A tanned human in a bandanna whistles nonchalantly as he browses the goods displayed at the trade wagon.
With a knowing smile he comments to no one in particular, 'Well! Wet me pipe, this is a fine lot of merchandise that has been assembled...'
After inspecting the inventory for sometime, he tries to get the attention of the merchants,
'Ahoy there Goldhands, I am Aeb Ankor. This is a fine day for making a deal and to enjoy a bit of haggling yes?'
Hopeful of a positive reply. He continues,
'I'd like to make a few offers toward your goods.
'That shield there with inspiration to destroy undead (turn undead), what say you for 160?
'I'd put up 75 on that attractive helmet (CHA/ Perform)?
'The protective ring with the fire protection, would come in handy for 15?
'Then a package of four utility items... that (belt bears end), this (belt vigor), those (boots etherrealness) and I guess toss in a hat (blindsight) too... for a bundle of 50 bags on the lot?
'I hope this is acceptable...'
He patently waits for a reply.

The tiefling sighs deeply and walks away, casting a final glance at the kama before heading down the road.

Several hours later, the Tiefling returns with two men leading an oxcart. The cart is covered by a fine linen cloth and clinks audibly when the wagon hits a bump in the road. When the cart reaches the auctioneer, the Tiefling removes three items wrapped in cloth from the wagon and approaches the auction stand.
"This should cover the ring," he says as he places a ring of his own on the block. "This should cover the robe," he continues and spends the next ten minutes laying out a set of full plate mail armor crafted from shimmering mithril. "And I raise my bid with this," he says, laying out a small curved knife that glints green in the sunlight.
He steps back and awaits the auctioneer's reply.
///2,500,000 gold
///Mithral fullplate

There is a momentary frown on the sorceress' face,
" I shall bid 400 000 gold then, master dwarves."
*Annaliza, plays with her ring on her left hand looking down at it contemplatively. The ring clearly bares the mark of Aiden as does other jewelry she is wearing. She then looks off in the distance briefly.
A loving smile forms on her soft full lips as she turns her beautiful green eyes to the Dwarves and thanks them, then to Telia with a smirk and syrupy soft tone.... " You win." She says with a graceful courtsie and a devious smirk, flipping her silken red hair back off her shoulder, then turning her back to the woman and saunters to the other side browsing the other wares with interest.*

As the Suneite departs from the hard fought auction for the ring, it is but a few short moments that the priest does so as well. He hurries away from the stall entirely, clearly set on some urgent purpose.

Telia seems to have been doing her best to look at Annaliza as little as possible. Indeed, some may even gather that she is pretending it is
not Annaliza having been stood nearby. She reacts little to the woman's words directed at her, only dipping her head politely and then waits around for a while. The presence and then departure of the priest does not seem to have come to her notice.

Norven, a light armored Rashemi warrior, approaches the trade wagon. After a close inspection of the wares, he notices the Light studded Armor on sale, and addresses Goldhand
400000 coins for this light studded armor. Put the bid under the name Norven

The priest returns in a hurry. He moves to stand next to Telia Navra, and then bows to the two merchants.
"Well met, sirs. I wonder if we can enter into a transaction."
He points to the ring that Telia and Annaliza had been bidding on. ((Ring +3 CHA, +3 Diplomacy, +3 Perform))
"Well met, sirs. I wonder if we can enter into a transaction. I have recently recovered two artefacts that I had hoped to trade for coin or a sturdy suit of armour. Yet I find this ring catches my eye."
He produces a pair of boots. "Unfortunately one of my artefacts has been sold for coin. I am not sure it is enough coin to match the lady's bid, here." He gestures to Telia.
"Perchance you could tell me how much you would value these boots here at? How much gold would I need to offer you to exceed the lady's offer?"
((Gargoyle Boots: +2 Dodge, Stoneskin 1/day - offered along with enough gold to beat Telia's offer))

As a wild priest appears and stands next to her, Telia greets him with a smile. The smile remains for a while until she realizes what the priest is trying to do. Her eyes grow wide and she tries to reach for the priest, to tug at his tunic - a holy vestment of his faith. "Ameris! What are you doing?!" the witch says in a hushed voice to the priest.

Telia's eyes narrow at the priest's words. It is clear such words are not what she expected to hear. She frowns and looks towards the dwarves holding the auction to see what they have to say.

One-Eye interrupts between the tiefling and the Goldhands.
"Is that the best ye got, ye tainted blood tomb raider? And it be good, damn near an artifact in itself...but..."
He squints his one good eye at the tiefling.
"Do ye got the way about you to answer a straight question, aye? Cause ye better put yer best out, if ye wish to best this stout."

The Tiefling regards the dwarf for a moment, blinks twice, then says, "Do you honestly expect me to tell you whether these are my best objects for barter? You heap abuse on me the way you heap food and drink into your enormous mouth and you expect a straight answer?"
He chuckles to himself and after a moment continues, saying, "You are bold, I will give you that and I suppose you have earned an answer of sorts, so here it is: I have raided ancient dungeons and forgotten tombs these past ten years and more. I assure you, there is far more in this wagon that what you see laid out before you. Now let us see your counter offer."
