I have to say, I love the changes to the Spirit Shaman. The proposed way of bargaining which spells you have that day is fantastic and I think will make them super versatile.
Maybe I can explain it better for those not groking what this means.
You have, for example, 4 level one spells you can cast that rest cycle(day).
Your friend, the druid, has 3 he can cast that day. The druid can pick which 3 individual spells he wants. So, he picks a cure light wounds, magic fang, and entangle. He can cast one of those spells each, each day. He can also sack any one of those to summon creature 1 if he desires.
The druid ends up getting attacked by bandits and sacks his cure light wounds to summon a wolf(1 spell done). The bandit proves to be tougher than expected so he casts magic fang(2 spells gone). He dispatches the enemy and his wolf expires. Another bandit comes and he only has entangle left to cast. He casts it and dispatches the bandit. As he's heading back to town he gets attacked by a phase spider! He has no magic left so he tries to run, and dies.
The shaman that day bargained to get access to summon creature, magic fang, and entangle that day. The same situation arises and he casts summon wolf and magic fang to dispatch the first bandit(2 spells gone). He continues and decides to use another summon wolf to dispatch the next bandit(3 spells gone). As he's leaving he's jumped by a pack of wolves! He could use his last spell to cast another wolf if he wanted. Or, he could use it to cast entangle and provide himself with a clean gettaway!
You basically get to choose your druidic conversion as you go! This is a fantastic thing!
