Who better to represent a card that symbolizes strength, courage, patience, and compassion than a paladin! Obviously Juno is all of these things, and I thought it would be fun to see a strong woman warrior represented.

The original tarot card has a very evocative picture of a woman patting a lion's head and jaw. Rather than actually draw a lion, however (I am terrible at drawing animals), I decided to stick a lion's head on a shield. Those of you who know Juno might know of her legendary shield-throwing skills. I thought that would be a fun way to incorporate the lion's head imagery into this BG version of the Strength card.

The background is a more literal representation of in-game events than I typically have done in these cards. You'll have to ask Juno to get the full story!

I feel like I really pissed her off. I also like the trading card style. Well done.

I also adore seeing Juno portrayed like this. Sunite? Yes, absolutely. Beautiful? Beyond a doubt. Complete and total b@d@ss? Damn straight, she took a dude's head clean off with that shield, man! I think you really captured what I've always felt was the character's spirit, and it's so refreshing to see!

Per biddytarot.com, "The original tarot card shows a number of naked men, women and children rising up from their graves, arms outspread and responding to a trumpet call of Gabriel, who hovers high above them." The background is of the ocean and tidal waves approaching the figures.

Since the server is PG-13, I obviously didn't want to depict a bunch of naked people, so I thought I would shift the perspective to a top down version. Rellon rests, half-submerged in water, his expression one of being at peace. The water here was intended to represent a watery grave to evoke the imagery of the original card. Dead hands reach out all around Rellon, seeking the absolution that the figures from the original card sought from Gabriel.

The inspiration for this card was also taken from in-game events.

So many props to you, and your phenomenal skill. This is amazing.

That is pretty cool!
