But by all means... I'm not one to tell people what to do. I just don't understand it.

It gives people who otherwise wouldn't go outside, to go outside.
'You' would go outside to play basketball or something. I think the reason why you don't understand it is there. You have to put yourself in other people's mind, who just don't find it enjoyable to play basketball or something. If you do that, you'll understand the hype around the game I'm sure.

I'm close to my 30 and playing! Last night I found some team members (Red), 2 girls in the twenties, and a guy in his fourty, and we went to take on all the gyms in town. Was fun.

Ya not everyone can or even wants to play sports. I played football in school for 6 years and in my senior year in highschool I was still the second slowest guy on the team. I could outrun the center but he weighed 100lbs more than me so. . . Ya. I tore my rotator cuff so my arm has always been a little bit uncoordinated. In short sports are pretty much not my thing but not for lack of trying. With a desk job the only exercise I was getting was walking my dog. Now he gets walked more.
Honestly though if this game was called "Football Go" and you walked around town throwing money at players to draft them, hung out at bars to get more money balls, and competed for control of football fields I am 99% certain the game wouldn't be drawing this much negative media attention.
