Type: Investigation/Social/Combat

Description:
A group of adventurers is looking for group of undead, disturbed by a vision one of them saw.

The adventurers head to the location specified, but along the way, they run into an aftermatch of battle. Two men are fighting among the pile of corpses, and as the gorup approaches, one of the lops off the head, of another.

Then survivor approaches the group and speak to them about being worthy to face a "goddess". Then eventually the dialogue shifts towards attack. The man charges in, andeven though it took a lot of effort to take him down, he is eventually defeated. Much to his surprise, no doubt.

The group continues to the target area, which is in the field of the dead, and they uncover barricades and signs of activity. Dulled cracked gems lie on the ground, but their owner is nowhere to be found. Abandoned workbench stands nearby, with few materails still left on it.

As they discuss how to proceed, the night falls, and one of them overhear mechanical noise nearby, and sound of rolling wheels.

They investigate. And find a procession of golems surrounding a mechanical wagon and walking somewhere. They attempt to approach and communicate, but the creatures seem mindless.

One of the adventurers attempts to disguise themselves as a golem, approaches, but....
is apparently recognized as not one of the comrades.

The whole group of constructs begins an attack.

They are, eventually dispatched, but one ofthe adventurers attempts to climb into the wagon, only to discover that entirety of the interior is filled by one construct spider. Which crushes the wagon walls, and climbs out, attacking the group as well.

The spider is too, broken. The adventurers stand before the pile of rubbish and items that were in the rest of the wagon. There are some notes there, as well.

They stand and discuss more, and eventually a stranger approaches the group, and joins the conversation. The stranger, eventually, departs.

As the adventurers continue contemplating possible chocies, the time advances to midnight, and suddenly activity of undead increases. Large number of ghosts and undead attacks the group, whispering and complaining about some sort of grievances....

But the sudden attack ceases soon.

Name: Dragon Hunt

Type: Investigation/Social/Combat.

Description: An adventuring party passing throuhg Soubar sees an unsual sight - an armored figure in red cloak, with a halberd. They approach the armoredperson and speak....

Progress:
Hidden: show
The figure turns out to be a dragon hunter. It seems that the stranger along with comrades are looking for additional people for their journey to slay a big red wyrm that recently arrived in the area. And the comrades are waiting outside.

The adventurers head out of soubar and by the boarskyr bridge there is, indeed a small caravan (with just two wagons in it), and more of the dragon hunters. And a very nervous caravan driver.

One of the dragon hunters speaks with the group, names the price and describes the task - to scout ahead and call upon them when the dragon is found. The group agrees.

Then the hunter asks them to take an oath - not to attack their comrads till the hunt is over. The request is odd, but the group agrees, reluctantly.

Then theyleave.

They arrive to see the land recently set on fire, and remains of destroyed charred wagon on the ground. The hunters ask them to proceed forward and report when done.

The road is still burning, and the flames spawn fire elementals.

Beyound thet urn of the road, they see the area covered in fire. Andin distance, a lair looms, that seems being recently "built" - with a bit of rock and molten stone, and some treasure.

They call for the dragon hunters, and they arrive. Together the group approaches the beast, who seems interest and speaks. They exchange few words, but eventually the hunterscall for a duel.

And a lengthy battle, during which the dragon heals several times, and calls for help of more elementals... the beast is finally slain.

The dragon hunters are intend on harvesting materials off the corpse, and thegroup checks the hoard, finding few items inside.

Yet they feel unease about the hunters and their motives. But, they chose, in the end todepart.

Back at boarskyr they talk a bit longer with the halfling driver who is now more cheerful and less nervous than before. He said that the hunters spooked his horses, but paid well.

And eventually the caravan departs as well.

The adventurers are left behind, wondering if they have made a mistake.

Name: The Bleeding Troll

Location: Soubar, Northern Tradeway.

Description: A lone adventurer overhears something interesting being said at the winding inn.
Few masked figures speak of trolls. Odd behaving trolls that bleed and speak.... as adventurer's friend joins her at the inn, they together contemplate what to do.

Progress:
Hidden: show
As adventurers speak to each other, they eventually find an excuse to to speak with the masked people, and learn that they encountered a strange troll not far from soubar. That was speaking oddities and constnatly bleeding. They left the troll alone.

They assmeble a small group, and go to investigate.

And indeed, there's a troll in the area that definitely don't seem tob e feeling well. The creature clutches its head, and complains of someone saying things to id.

Eventually it lunges to attack. And is dispatched. It is turned into stone then cracks and explodes into a mess of rocks and flesh. Which was unusual.

As the adventurers investigate the remains of the troll, a mechanical creature starts moving nearby. It is a broken clockwork roach, that took a heavy blow earlier, perhaps from the troll's club. It wakes up, flips around, and waves broken antennaes at group. Then perhaps, tries to attack, but is unable to do that due to heavy damage.

The mechnical bug gives up and starts limping somewhere with determination. The group decides to follow him.

They walk for a long time, and eventually hear singing. They come across two groups that stand still and sing, and the mechanical bug they were following slips past the group. Some of those singing people lie dead, and the rest do not care. The group approaches and starts talking, speaking something odd. Meanwhile some of them keep dropping dead. One of the adventurers attempt to distract them with music, but it doesn't seem to be working.

One of the members of the group tries to distract them with a spell, but... it backfires horrible and the group rushes into attack instead.

And only one adventurer survives.

As the sole survivor approaches thes group, again, the group speaks with him. And, one by one, drops dead.

The survivor starts reviving his comrades.

They wake up and discuss the circumstances. They look through the wagons used by one of the groups they encountered, and then decide to setup a short camp and proceed forward, still looking for the mechanical bug.

In distance, they see some sort of encampement with barricades and golems patrolling it.

They decide to scout the surroundings a bit, staying far away. And eventually they decide to break through the defences, attacking them.

It... didn't really work well. The golems put up significant resistance, and once again, there are only two survivors. They end up being chased across the area by persistent constructs, but they devise a plan, spontaneously - they distract one of the guards long enough to grab whatever is inside the encampent.

And it works.

One of the surviving adventurers returns with a big pile of materials and few notes. Remainign golems, meanwhile , remain at the camp.

The adventurers discuss the situation for a bit, and decide to retreat back to soubar. Where they discuss the event, raise the fallen, and think what to do next.

Name: "Shazis"

Event Date: 2018/10/14

Description:
Hidden: show
After following trail of many events, going through several journeys, some of them quite strange, and pursuing the fate of old documents, a group of adventurers arrives at greenreset, ready to head towards their ultimate goal.

Right from the start, however, they are attacked by a clockwork spider that was present nearby. The creature ended up being quite durable this time but eventually it was downed.

The adventurers started a ritual, opening a portal in an arch. The magic flickered and a gate shined, inviting them to walk through.

And so they stepped through the archway.

The portal grew weaker behind them, but remained stable. They found themselves in some darker place, that looked old. Water trickled down the walls, and few pillars were erected in some places, commemorate events happened long time ago.

They moved through to the next room, and found it to be newly abandoned, with remains of a chess match left before completion. More pillars stood nearby, and they proceeded.

Beyound the first room was a corridor, and there some lava broke through the wall, pouring inside corridor, causing water to turn into steam when it cam to contact with it, and melting a statue next to it. Across the magma was another locked room, this one was a smithy of sorts.

Two mindless creatures were found inside, and they attacked adventurers only to be quickly dispatched. The adventurers investigated the room and one of them has made few interesting discoveries regarding the structure they were navigating.

They proceeded forth.

The stairs led them up, and they ended up a much worse maintained tunnel, with lava devouring part of it. Apparently a wall has been broken through nearby, and magma slowly poured it. Yet the flow of it has been stopped, so perhaps some work was done by someone unseen. The tunnels housed piles of refuse, and also walking piles of molten rock and magma. Golems and elementals, that put up fierce fight that delayed the party greatly.

One more set of stairs, and the group, after passing through a bridge crossing over magma lake.... ended up in great halls carved from solid stone.

Inside, fiends awaited them. Telling that their arrival was expected they led the group to the one that led t hem. They passed thorugh magnificient halls decorated with columns and stone trees, and were led to the throne.

A beuatiful woman sat on the throne, smiling cruelly. Black wings were seen behind her back. She greeted the group, congratulated and asked.... what was their wish.

A dialogue started, long, drawn out and dangerous...
...
...

It is not quite clear what happened afterwards. There are tales of dialogue erupting into massive fight that destroyed good portion of the throneroom. Some say that the group retreated. Some say the adventurers were victorious.

What is known, however, that the group got split and separated in the process, but managed to emerge int two different places back in the material plane. With few souveniers to examine, and few stories to tell and remember.
