The Druid of Greenest has been seen a little more often, recasting the subtle wards and entanglements around her glade. She also however, will stop by the town, leaving a trade of wild healing herbs for Chaunteas own druidess, Rowan, or perhaps visiting by the campfire with Aiden when she is in a slightly more sociable mood.

The towering armored figure of Kamine Waynn is seen more often in the town of Greenest of late, either patrolling the area around the outskirts or conversing with a few of the men and women of the militia. Today she is seen leaving a sealed letter at the residence of Queen Dharva Scatterheart.

The next Kamine passes by Greenest, one of their guards would warn her the Druid of Greenest was looking for her, so it was likely they would cross paths there soon, or in the Reaching Wood.

I've resigned my place at Candlekeep and I've moved my things to the inn in Greenest.

Every time I pass the burnt-out husks of raided farms I remember what these people have lost and, if I can, what I can possibly help to reclaim in time.

Greenest being what it is, word may travel swiftly toward those well-connected and intentionally monitoring its workings. Should word arrive to Hammer Hall, and so to Jackard Marks..

Jackard would send formal invitation to the lady-knight at Orniff's inn, entreating her to visit The Lucky Coin tavern on a temporarily-open tab and a private meeting as soon as she is able.

Rocky Creek, perhaps most well-known for their caravan service, has brought a half-dozen large families of refugees to Greenest over the past three years, farmers, artisans, and merchants. Their presence has brought robust trade with Berdusk, Elturel, and Iriaebor, including the hin merchant near the communal fire. Her members have healed, taught, and supported Greenest's people and aided in the recovery of the village including walls and gates. Their relationship with the Queen, as well as the people of Greenest, should likely be readily apparent to anyone spending time therein.

A Midsummer Wedding

The Halls of Inner Light is proud to announce the union of two beautiful souls within our prayer hall on Midsummer night. The Day will be filled with games, prizes, food and drink, and the love and life of a party on this blessed holiday. As dusk settles and the games wind to an end, the party will retreat within the Halls to the prayer hall to join two hearts into one, once the ceremony is complete, a feast and revelry will continue within the Heartfire tavern until dawn.

For the games, prize tickets can be won at each event, and each event can be repeated as many times as one wishes.

Tier 3 Prize: 5x potions of lesser restoration, 5 scrolls of lesser restoration, 5x healing kits, or 500 gold
Tier 2 Prize: 10x healing kits, 1 divine scroll of choosing 1-4 Circle level, or 1000 gold
Tier 1 Prize: 1 divine scroll of choosing 5-9 Circle level, or 2500 gold

Games such as tests of strength, dexterity, accuracy, and more will be offered at 1000 gold per full attempt.

Proceeds from the fair will go to the Temple of Ilmater to aid and needy and down trodden within the city.

The paladin-priestess of the Red Knight would return word that she would be glad to meet at either party's convenience.

There is a whisper in the winds, calling to the druid folk...

Runes are painted on tree trunks; they are woven into hanging talismans and left trailing through the wilds; the message is echoed in birdsong. So that all druids, rangers, fey-beings, all those blessed by or bound to nature, may find a way to understand the message.

"Sunlight... revel... power...
River... springs..."

The strange shapes show hours and dates; they make maps guiding to a quiet place. The whispers through the wind and leaves speak of something more in the subconscious of the Forestals:

"Midsummer is fast approaching, and it is time to start revelling. In these dark days, we welcome the Sun at the height of its power. Remember the power in your soul. The love in your heart. This is our time."

OOC: A Midsummer celebration is being held for the 'Nature Nerds' to welcome the upcoming holiday. We are using a new location on a recently revived map: "East Along the Chionthar River"

It is a smaller transition map, safe for low levels, and includes a swimming hole - because what is summer without swimming? You can reach the map either directly South from Greenest/Uldoon Trail, From the Woods of Sharp Teeth, or the Eastern port of "East of Wyrm Crossing". You can also reach it from the Northern Tradeway / Fort Prominence map, though this will involve switching servers.

A trio of people are seen walking along the trail coming from Nashkel, while one of them dispatches the Flinds and other creatures in the area the man and woman lead him to a cavern before doubling back to end up near the Firewine Bridge. After some time the man and woman depart leaving the last behind.

Three hins - Cora, Ernest and Oz - visited Greenest that morning. After a day spent fishing over the river, it was the time to enjoy Albert's Greenest Brew in The Lucky Coin. That was a lovely evening indeed... When the bees started to wake up with a sunrise, the time had come to ask Orniff for three, cozy bedrooms.

A staggered knight is carried into greenest by a local merchant traveler.

His mithral armor spattered with blood and dirt.

He arrived unconscious and continues to remain so. When asked, the merchant named Jolf would reply that the knight was picked up alongside the road. He would have been left for dead had he not been a familiar face to the merchant and his family as the knight was regularly spotted around Greenest.

As to what happened, nobody seems to know but all remains only to speculation. His wounds were deep and the man was tended to as best as the local medicus could do... but words of the man passing onto the next life remained on the lips of those who have seen him. Local gambling types have started taking bets on what night the Knight, later identified as Aiden Vega, would pass...

Until then, he remains in a state of slumber.

By sundown the rumours reached far enough; a frantic druidess burst from the trees in the hamlet and clutches to the first people she sees, begging for any knowledge of the injured man. Most locals recognise her - Iolanna, the Druid of Greenest, and all the implications of her panic become apparent. It would be an unsettling sight, seeing the Eldathyn so afraid.

A few kind locals take her to her stricken mate, Aiden, directly... or, they would have. Upon entering the room at the inn, they found only an empty room. The only sign of her mate, was the bloodstained sheet left on the bed.

Crumpled and soiled parchment tacked to the Eldathian shrine was plucked by diminutive hand and brought into view of a lavender and azure heterochromatic gaze. She departed as silently as she arrived.

The flurry of recent activity and rumor would not fail to arrive at the ear of the Lucky Coin's transient tavernkeep. While the foreign-blooded culinarian keeps to her personal routines and business, since the influx of non-native wildlife she has been found more frequently out meditating during the hour of sunset. The location differs - sometimes in the small walled gardens, other times by the river and shrines, but always with a steaming tea-set close at hand.

It is by such happenstance that she watches the Greenwarden's plight from afar, perched upon the small wall around the Rocky Creek compound while sipping from a worn wooden teacup. The druid's distressed arrival and follow-through are observed with indifference, and the baker makes no inclination to help, hinter or draw any attention to her peaceful perch. As the commotion subsides, she cracks a wry smile and a softly bemused utterance; "Mountains, indeed".

Soon thereafter she disappears back within Hammer Hall, reviewing a freshly unsealed letter.

The presence of the druidess around the village is scarce now, the last seen of her inside the walls she had taken the bloodstained sheets from the inn leaving a heavy handful of coin in exchange. Some locals have spotted her out on the Uldoon Trail, others say she's in the wind.
