In recent days of commerce, it is said that Director Rico Business Dorado met with Murdoc Mert, a business hin from southern Amn. The hin of profits and the Director met behind closed doors about mutual opportunities of gold and the business of the Golden Wheel company. The two later exited the Northern Lights Inn with prayers and hails to the goddess Waukeen for the business that was wrought!

A common scene over the past tendays near Nashkel, in between board meetings and trade convoys of Golden Wheel goods to the north or south...





A primal "KABOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!" echoes around the hills near Nashkel as an large explosion rips apart a rock wall in an underground cavern near the entrance to the Nashkel Mines. "Praise Waukeen! Praise Grumbar!" Director Rico "Business" Slickrock yelps with profitable glee as he leads a mine cart squad and shoveling team with a golden grin, wearing flash resistant goggles as he looks on, greedily pointing at the newly leftover piles of debris left by the explosive charge and eagerly signaling for the mining team working with him to toss them aside for Golden Wheel mining laborers to begin the process of collecting any iron ores in the rock and to refine them into purer iron ingot forms in the refining complex immediately outside the mines. Business then screams into a comically humongous megaphone on his shoulder to "get the ore to the refining department on the triple my platinums! We a schedule to keep and investors and tax collectors to get their pearls! I don't want Lady Narasida to come down here and see a copper return on her investment!"

Business again smiles gold as he is totally in his element. "We are going to make so much gold" he snickers to himself, wiping some ore dust off his bushy gold dyed beard, being careful not to get any of it under the goggles protecting his greedy eyes.

He then peers at a watch on his arm. "Oh, my favorite times of the day, an investor tour, then an Amnian tax assessor meeting, then we have some new mining laborers, security mercenaries and scouts, and managers that need some training... " he says enthusiastically to a passerby lieutenant. "Hey, Gonzo! Take over on the cart squad will ya. I showed you how! I gotta go show some Athkatla types around! Be easy on the charges you maniac", smiling and laughing, as he says that ribbingly. "Show them how we Amnians do business! GOLD AND IRON my platinums!" A cheer responds from some of the other miners "GOLD AND IRON! GOLD AND IRON! Huzzah!"



Director Business then walks confidentially towards the torch glowing and opened outdoor exit of the mines. "Doing business" he says as he snaps his fingers to some entering miners and winks at one of them playfully. Rico then rehearses to himself that if the tax assessor has a bad reaction to operations so far since Tathra was made Chief Operator to counter with "well that is Tathra's department, you gotta talk to the Chief". Rico then thinks another moment and nods, grinning gold, and exits into the golden lit eveningfall outside and his late day meetings, meeting what profits lie ahead for the enterprise. Praise Waukeen! Praise Grumbar!
