At last, progress...this bodes well...much can happen we work together, goals can be satisfiend and fullfilled....even if they are different. I must formalize my ideas for the Council immediately and request another meeting. I am sure the others have prepared and considered much as well..

Brothers and Sisters,

Red, the Shadow Weave user of CandleKeep, has been arrested by The Fist, by Captain Crownsilver himself. We shall see how his sentence is carred out, trail or otherwise, but it is in the hands of the Fist now.

Rumor also has it that the vampire and machinations of Undeath in the Cloakwood and that infernal house are at an end. But, remain vigilant into the goings on in Our lands.

We have made much progress these last months, made new allies and renewed the bonds between old ones.

We have done our part in many of these situations and others, no matter how small or great. The effort is what matters and the eternal vigilence that is our responsibility.

I thank you all and ask that we continue upon the Path we find ourselves, for the good of the Land and maintaining the Balance.

My friend, Alistaria and I cannot thank you enough for your gift to our daughter. Istari tower can sometimes be a drafty place and the fine quality blanket has been most welcome. Although I have left a few times for business, we have mostly been keeping to ourselves here in Istari, but hope to be venturing out and rejoining the world soon. Do you know if Eleanor and Raymond have had their children yet? I have heard no news.

Also, you may wonder how I knew where to leave this. Let me just say that your secret is safe with me, but the reason I know is that a friend, his mind addled due to lack of sleep and grief, once stumbled his way in here and I followed. I realized immediately where I must be.

I heard of you joining in the fight to retake and rebuild Nashkel. A worthy cause, I salute you old friend. Take care of yourself.

I found my way to depths untold and passage ways that even I do not recall. I have seen the drow city with my own eyes! I gave them a message to not attempt to come to the Surface again.

They mocked and jested my name, yes I divulged my true name and heritage, but I slew what appeared to be a powerful guard and another who tried to bite me with short cold blades.

I read the stones, rocks, and spoke to the creatures below, bats and snakes, and I believe we must brace ourselves for a dark time ahead. These drow filith, when they come they will destroy the woodlands and rivers and fields for they do not love anything that grows on the face of soil.

Sister Cat...then the rumors are true. A way to the Underdark has at last been found...it will not be much longer before something comes as you say. We must inform the Ancient One of this at once.

While it is your right to explore as you see it, you must always remember that your actions have an impact upon the Grove, all it's members and the Land itself.

I have little qualms with you delivering such a message to the Dhaerow...as they have been seen more in our lands recently...

*his tone becomes serious*

That being said, if you knowingly assaulted the city and guardians of the Drow city, such actions must be brought to the attentions of the Council and from Us..to the ears of the Ancient One.

It is Ours to maintain the Balance, but your actions may have dire consequences if you knowingly attacked the Dhaerow...while I have no love for them and we see eye to eye on this matter...such actions MUST be brought the Councils attention be such a thing can be done.

*his tone levels off to a more kind and understanding one*

Alas, your efforts and bravery are to be commended for now one walks amoung Us...who knows the way to this city if we ever have reason to strike and any we now have more information than we had before.

If you ran into the city during your explorations and had to defend yourself this is to be understood by myself and I have no qualms with that...I would have done nothing different...if this was the case...

Do to changes in the leadership of the Grove, the Seekers will now be overseen by Protector Eleanor.

I have been elevated in position and have other duties to see to, though I will be available to meet with you in your tasks of meeting members of the Grove.

It has brought joy to my heart to have had the honor to oversee you all in your tasks on your path to the Grove. I am proud of you all.

Please show Protector Eleanor the same attention to youR tasks and respect you have shown me. Her ways might be different than my own, but her strength amoung the members of the Grove is well known and no less than my own.

I wish you luck in your endeavors to walk the forrest Path the Ancient One has laid at Our feet.

The elven ranger found familiar tracks on the ground... tracks that he had been searching for many moons now.

-Blades...- He tought to himself.

He followed the trail through the woods of Sharpteeth watching every movement around him.

A poisoned arrow came whistling just two inches above his head and he became ready to the incoming battle.

Two assassins armed with daggers and wearing full hoods fought their way around Daelthrien where he stood blocking their blows with his two scimitars in a lethal dance.

One assassin attempted to land a heavier blow against the elf, but the strike was too slow and Daelthrien could parry it and counter attack cutting the assassin's neck.

Scared, the other assassin fled and disappeared into the forest leaving no traces.

-I'll deal with him later...

He now had to uncover the identity of the dead attacker.

Slowly, he removed the hood just to discover his attacker was a drow.

Discovered the indentity of the attacker, the reason left Daelthrien and in a fast movement he decapitated the already dead Illythiir.

After a few moments of rage, he could return to his reason and plan his next course of action.

-I... must share this with the circle... they must know the danger that awaits.

And he headed to the grove to share the grim news.

I say let them come, it has been long since I hunted Dhaerow. I say we find the source of these assassins and their home...my guess this city that sister Cat found.

Then we deal with them. I will not support speaking with such creatures of darkness, they must be taught a lesson.

I will not have members of the Grove openly attacked in Our lands nor Dhaerow schemes filter onto the Surface....
