Re: En Dharasha Everae RP thread
Looking around at the learned elves gathered to address the issue of the Miyertar tomes, Velaris nods and tries to make himself useful.
He aids in the gathering and identification of wards and protective spells on the books, wards similar to those most modern day wizards would use. He monitors the castings of the other wizards present, and nods his approval of their choice of spells and adept castings.
Having nothing more to do now but read, he gathers several books and sits at the desk in the corner, the familiar feel of the wood of the chair both relaxing him and allowing him to focus on the task at hand.
Applying centuries of knowledge of war craft, spellcraft and constructs, the war mage takes his time with each book, meticulously reading and making notes of items of interest in a separate unmarked tome, as well as a smaller volume with a silver spine.
The sun elf pauses occasionally, taking food and reverie, but continues with as much diligence as the others gathered. He also notes, with a small smiles, that occasionally Mendel takes a small sip of the bottle Velaris gave him upon entering the academy.
As the process takes several days, he coordinates his efforts with the other elves present, re-reading the volumes others has finished as well as making a list of the general topics and contents of each tome. This list would be shared and compared to the works of the others, and a final draft would be added to the silver volume.
This silver book would be wizard locked and delivered to the desk of the First Lady Mage.

Re: En Dharasha Everae RP thread
Sel noticed the group beyond the gate. With a sincere greeting to Elder Nylaras he crossed the stream and approached the group. After greetings were shared Sel, the Sy’Tel’Quessir, apologized for interrupting what appeared to be a serious conversation. Assured by Mendel to stay and listen Sel followed the group and stepped into the august chambers of magi. Afraid of causing an accident or unwanted distraction Sel simply tried hard to keep silent and still in the warded chambers.
He noticed the calm, deep voiced sun elf wizard Saerthal, the elegant and graceful sun elf Aeili whose concise words and manner were as intriguing as her emerald eyes and tattoos, the mature wood elf Amiena whose ivory hilted dagger was revealed by a faint hue of purple as it protruded from her right boot, the warrior elf Tirion at ease among the laboratory and perhaps uneasy with Mendel’s talk of drink, the sharp angular features of emerald eyed Isolia whose emerald eyes were as distinct as the eyes as distinct the mysterious Eyes of Fenmarel adorning the back of her glistening breastplate, Velaris who spoke of ten millennia with the sort of calmness of one who has seen centuries pass, and the young Teu-Tel’Quessir Lafali gracefully swirling a cape with a silver dragon. Sel felt overwhelmed by both their powerful presence and the seriousness with which they addressed the issue at hand.
This group, he knew, were as dedicated to the Seldarine as any could be and moreover seemed adamant and quite capable of protecting the Tel’Quessir from direct or insidious threat. He knew that he shared the same honors and burdens though he was unsure of how he could be of assistance.
When secrecy was called for he felt he could finally respond to the situation and his voice rang with keen determination as he swore upon his forefathers. He would be ready when needed.

Re: En Dharasha Everae RP thread
The elves of En Dharasha Everae that stay in the village would notice an opalescent light travelling heavenwards towards the moon, originating from the Misty Forest. Shortly after an azure light adds to the symphony of colors. It is rumored that a group of elves travelled to the High Moors after this incident and returned many hours later, with a crystaline coffin into their possession.

Re: En Dharasha Everae RP thread
Trail of Light.
It was early in the morning when Ithilwen finally arrived at her private quarters.
Tired, she threw her mantle over her desk chair and walked towards the cabinet to pour herself a glass of wine.
"I see you have skipped knocking all together",
she said without turning around as she sensed the door silently opening behind her
"Would you like a refreshment as well, dear?"

The dark figure glided wordlessly into the room in a cloud of black robes with that spectral walk of his, waving off the offer as she finally took a seat in front of him.
She provided Kael with a detailed summary of what had happened earlier in the night. She told him about the glowing tome and how she was the only one of the group who could touch it due to her heritage.
As he silently nodded, she described him the divination spell that powered by moonlight, produced arcane inscriptions in the air moving on their own, and how it symbolized the constellation Angharradh, its azure light pointing towards the High Moor.
She proceeded to describe how they reached some ancient ruins, and only those "true of heart" could enter (he scoffed pretty loudly, at that...). She omitted the part where she actually gained entrance into what looked like an ancient Myeritari sanctuary dedicated to Angharradh. The question she was asked still lingered in her mind...Thinking back to her answer, her gaze lingered on the hooded figure in front of her as she fell silent for a long moment.
‘That's where we found an elven-sized crystalline coffin, heavily warded. I believe we can safely assume the incantations are mostly aimed at warding off decay: the current theory is, the creature inside seems to be in a sort of...stasis.’
She let out a soft sigh before continuing, feeling his burning gaze on her. Disapproval. Maybe a bit of anger? Annoyance...and yes, definitely anger...It was hard to tell with him: he was easily irritated by anyone without the ability to follow his reasoning. And considering the degree of intelligence and his...unhortodox approach, that meant a lot of people. Really a lot. As usual, unperturbed by his mood, she continued:
‘As you might have guessed, it's the coffin we brought back with us, that now lies, shielded and secured, in the lower floors of the arcane study…I fully realize the situation is far from ideal. But time was of the essence, and furthermore we could not take the risk of anyone else following the azure light trail unbeknownst to us, and tampering with it once we were gone.’
She knew it was a weak excuse. Logic would dictate not to bring such a mysterious, powerful and thus potentially dangerous item with them in the village. There was no evidence to support ruling out the coffin being a threat, even if the others argued the fact it was myeritari in origin and found in a sanctuary of Angharradh was probably enough to think it safe to carry it to Dharasha. Good premise, but a lot can happen in tens of thousands of years...
"You seem even more silent than usual...any insights on the matter?"
With that mirthless smile of his dawning on his pale lips, he replied sardonically:
"Why...I thought you'd never ask..."

Priestess Aeili informed the Cor'selu'taar that she had to meet a temple initiate in Baldur's Gate and that she would return to her project in a few days' time.
When she returned, she had an infuriated look on her face.

Ithilwen sits at her desk in her office. The pile of paperwork in front of her, never ending. She sighs and moves it aside. She takes a piece of parchment and writes in a fluent motion. When done she rolls it up, sealing it with her own iced seal and whispers some words in the arcane language to it. A gust of wind picks up the scroll and it floats out of her window.

Re: En Dharasha Everae RP thread
After being away for close to two tendays, a lonesome figure emerged from the depths of the Misty Forest with a firmly packed and loaded satchel bag slung over her shoulder. She made her way straight for the Arcane Study and indicated to the Cor'Selu'Taar that she had everything she required to commence the project, and she could afford no distractions while she endeavoured to complete it.

Ithilwen would welcome the Mystran and show her to one of the private studies. She then appointed one of the apprentices, the young sunelf Orin and former baldurian orphan, to make sure Aeili would be left in peace, and if needed to provide any additions for her to continue her work.

And so the Mystran resumed her general reclusivity, spending a flat 20 hours per day at work in the Arcane Study, accepting only whatever food and drink were brought her by the attentive apprentice whom Ithilwen had stationed by the door for the purpose.
She emerged but once each day to retire to a quiet place in the grove outside the village to meditate during her remaining four hours of daily reverie. Whatever she was working on occupied a place of supreme importance in her mind, but anyone who managed to get a peek at what she was doing would find her solely focused on a single, thumbnail sized object. A gemstone.

Three elves from outside came to the village and met with those living here. After a long group gathering, a green robed sun elf with auburn hair was seen entering the Arcane Study, along with black robed elf and the Cor'selu'taar of Darasha. The green robed elf wasn't seen leaving the building ever since.

Alyndra is seen again in the village of the Misty Forest. She lets it be known that she offers her help in case En Dharasha Everae want to act against the drow.
She growls her statements more than she speaks it.
Afterwards she would stand aside with an eternal frown.
