The presence of the monk doesn't seem to bother the mopping woman in the slightest. Returning his smile, she rests the perrenial mop in its spot by the referenced book case and replies in her thick common, "aye, ye feel welcome t'drop wha'ever ye like in them shelves, hon. Meself an' Sister Adolina will keep it in good nick."

Mi-Le nods. "Thank you, Sister Reine."

A couple of days later, the monk returns and places a copy of the aforementioned journal on the bookshelf. Mi-Le expresses his intent to visit the temple every few days to help with suffering patients. On any such visits, he would keep the journal updated.

A blonde woman and a spectacled man in robes were seen entering the temple, carrying an unconscious young woman between them. The woman's wounds appear grave, but they have been treated and bandaged with a hand of great skill.

After talking with Sister Rachel, a bed has been made for the injured woman, where she now rests, breathing shallowly. It is likely that the woman will not wake for a long while to come - not without magical intervention, at least.

The blonde woman was then seen speaking to Sister Rachel before taking a room above. She would be seen periodically throughout the night as she went below to check on the condition of the injured woman. Early in the morning her bed would be made and a donation left on the bed for the priests. she would not have been seen exiting the Temple.

Following the attack on Baldur's Gate by the undead, Mi-Le spends much of his time at the Temple of Ilmater tending to any injured or ill people.

A letter arrives at the Temple of Ilmater in Baldur's Gate, bearing the seal of the clergy of Ilmater and the flowery symbol of Saint Ramedar. It is addressed to Sister Reine Arlynson.

A severely injured man with distinctive features and injuries, known as "Fenix" to most, was seen being brought into the temple and into the infirmary. After the worst of his injuries were seen to by those who brought him in and the sisters at the temple, he rested in the infirmary for some time, his cowled head turned away from anyone that happened to pass by.

"Fenix" slips out of the temple the next day, still injured and weak.

Bedraggled and rambling incoherently, a dark haired young woman matching the description of Shaytessa Umbrynthal was delivered to the care to the Temple of Ilmater by a man and two women wearing attire that would indicate faithful of Lathander.

Muttering and raving to herself, punctuated by fits of bloodcurdling screaming, childish giggling and jumping at shadows, the young woman viciously fights all attempts and suggestions for her to rest.

In rare moments of near lucidity, she vehemently insists that her room be continually lit from all sides.

After a long absence, the priest Ameris Santraeger is seen arriving back at the temple one more. He greets those inside warmly, and shares what, to him, is uplifting news. He sets about taking stock of what has changed in the temple.

He does not seem surprised at the presence of the new patient upstairs.

He looks upon the new book in the temple, drafted by Mi-Le, with interest, and expresses a desire to read it soon.

However, he is swiftly back at duty in the infirmary. Working as if he had ninety days to make up.

Seeing the spotless floor, relief that Reine evidently still lives would be seen on Ameris' features!

The Sisters and Brothers in the Temple would have noticed Herran Hymn being escorted to the Temple by Telia, Nea and a man who calls himself Fenix. Telia and Nea stayed and tried to get some sense out of Herran but it would seem clear that some malady of the mind is affecting him.

With some worry, they left him in one of the beds in the infirmary with word to Sister Rachel to try and look after him.

Herran Hymn it seems was guided to the ilmatari temple by Nea and Telia during the early evening hours. He seemed "trance like" or maybe better described as sleep walking?

After setting him at the table for some impromptu art work, he is guided with only one incident into the infirmary for the night. A woman sings a lullaby as a man sobs, until both eventually calm and become quiet.

As the sun rises the next morning Herran jumps to his feet belting out a song of requiem. Being as there are no real foes present the song seems to settle for shaking of the furniture and trembling of the walls with no real damage to anything. The danger of the power of his voice, however, is evident to all.

With unfocused eyes Herran attempts to leave the temple turning those same eyes in a deathlike stare towards any who attempt or manage to stop him.

He continually repeats two phrases I must get through the forest. and I -need- to kill the tree!

At Herran's singing, Shaytessa Umbrynthal wakes from a fitful sleep, screaming at the top of her lungs.

Unless restrained, she is soon running wildly through the infirmary in a simple nightgown, menacingly waving a wooden spoon while shouting incantations of childish nonsense .

Ameris rushes out of his cell at the cacaphony. His first act is to yell back into the room "I'll take upstairs, you take downstairs!"

Then, in his nightclothes, he first pokes his head into the Quiet One's room to check she is well; seeing it is not her, he offers a warm reassurance before moving to the room the screaming woman is in.

He would check all the candles, then try and restrain the woman. He is hopeful that Reine or another temple resident is in and awoken, so that Shaytessa can be held safely while he blesses her.

"Hush now." He would say. "You are safe. You are safe here. Let me bless you." He aims to calm her.
