I'm not sure if it is a bug or just related to the server.
While in werewolf form I failed twice in a row a save vs a destruction spell sending me to good old Myrkul.
However in the log no saves are shown against destruction spell or the fact that I even died.
In order to die I had to roll a one.
I'll remake him with steadfast and see if I now will see the save against it.
Known bug where instant death effects send you to the fugue without reporting anything in the log. I've had it happen to me from the beholders in Graypeaks, for example, even while in normal human form.

As of the next update the rest of the cosmopolitan feats will be made available. This should increase build variety and allow more builds to be viable without dipping class levels for skill access alone.

The rest... you mean the ones that were originally omitted for balance concerns?

The balance concerns are fairly minor since in the vast majority of situations these skills are available through dips like rogue that are almost exclusively beneficial.
If someone takes a cosmopolitan feat instead of dipping a class for skill access alone I see that as a win.
The feedback we've been receiving from our users is that we're too focused on game balance at the expense of RP and allowing for the expanded flexibility and viability of RP builds is a step in that direction that should not increase peak player power.

Yeah, probably the scariest new builds I can think of would require two Cosmopolitan feats at once. That doesn't sound so terrible when I think about it...

When I shift to a Gorgon, I consistently have a 3-4 second freeze. Other shapes are fine, what might be causing it?

So you can only take one Extra Skill feat, correct?

Nope, as many as you like.

I am quite curious what RP aspect UMD has other than, "Yes I have studied a little of the Arts to provide me protections", I mean personally I have not seen it RPed, unless they were RP learning to then gain that use in PvE/PvP, it has only been heavily used in PvE/PvP. I am not saying statements were not made but in the many interactions I have had with people I have not seen it ever done so for the sake of RP alone.
I understand the argument of focusing on RP, but there should be some sensibility for when the chance of PvE/PvP occurs. Else you are going to have a multitude of problems of balance when those times comes of mostly RP skills/feats focused chars vs those that do not and will use this free reign to go nuts if you will. I fear I myself disagree with the decision and believe those previously omitted skills should be restricted as was planned. Also I mean this for all of them I was just using UMD as the example because that is going to be the most heavily abused, along with Spot and so on.

The first build I thought about with this change was a Ranger that could could pick the Extra Skill: Tumble at level one, and a bunch of Fighter heavy builds who just get a boat load of feats regardless.

Currently, only non-mechanically-significant skills are available for Cosmopolitan. Heal, Hide, MS, Spot, Listen, Spellcraft, Taunt, Tumble, and UMD are not available at this time. There is some consideration for opening these as well at a later date since they will still require a feat to take, plus the skill points needed to invest in them (though UMD will likely never be allowed).

I personally hope we never add these to this. It will cause some pretty significant changes in what builds are viable and will remove the uniqueness and focus that certain classes enjoy in their tables right now.

I can forsee some pretty serious power building coming out of adding these skills to this. As my personal opinion.
Edit: Apparently they are already in....well then. I guess we will see how it goes.

Yeah, because a 30 Fighter PC with 30 Tumble is much more dangerous than a 26 Fighter/4 Rogue...

It is when you add thief acrobat builds who can cast level 9 spells and get 60+ spot and 55 AC

Oh, and for the sake of clarity alone: a Fighter 26/Rogue 4 with Able Learner gets Open Lock, Disable Device, Use Magic Device, Detection, Stealth, Tumble, etc... in addition to +2d6 Sneak Attack Dice and Evasion, which then opens up Expose Weakness. The only thing that build loses is two generic epic feats, but considering how fighter bonus feats can be used to get epic stuff, it is not that big of a loss.
Builds are usually more often feat starved than they are class slot starved.

I have never needed Thief Acrobat for level 9 spells, 60+ spot, and 55+ AC. And Thief Acrobat requires Evasion, which means even more multiclassing for that Knockdown immunity granted at level 5, which further lowers the caster levels... etc. Honestly, there are better builds for it.

well adios uniqueness.....all fighter will because mages with wands.....lv 9 scrolls.... and imbibing elixirs...
No more appeal to play rp builds as 90% of people will midmax for power builds.
I will stick with rp....
But sudden boost of warrior going full umd becoming god of magics.... yeah... I foresee that.
Well.... goodbye uniqueness of classes.
