A moderately guarded courier departs from Sshamath, in tow is a large 10x10 lightly warded crate. As they depart it seems they are heading in the direction of House Selmiyeritar. -

An influx of diverse groups from both the surface and underdark have been rumored to be entering the Bregan D'aerthe compound in recent cycles. This in addition the extent of Bregan's agents throughout the realm has increased a significant amount of false gossip.

There's a rumor among the citizens of Sshamath that a female drow challenged the Lord Commander of Bregan D'aerthe, Zhax'ar, in the Illithid Hives and was quickly disposed of.

After several tendays of many visits to the Stonestave, the matron of Qu'ellar Selmiyeritar lingers longer than usual. Her head is softly dipped as quiet oaths of fealty to S'shamath and its Conclave flow from her lips. Quite unusual for her, she listens more than she speaks throughout the ordeal, though that doesn't halt her small smile's increase in intensity. There comes a soft, "Yes," to a question, albeit quivering with excitement.
As she leaves the Stonestave and makes for the house's compound in Undrek Naudal, her smile is brighter than the sun above. Servants are chirped an order upon her arrival and scatter to deliver the news: Qu'ellar Selmiyeritar has earned a seat on the Bureaucracy, and she had accepted the offered role of Speaking Seat. A meeting is not called yet, but imminent; after the excitement, the news should be allowed to sink in within the cycle.
Her mirth and grin are contained as she retreats to her quarters for a long while, with a glass of wine in one hand and a moving inkpen in the other.

It might be heard that a sun-burned drow named Nargazul was in the Gloura's Wings these last cycles, flaunting fresh fair haired scalps and pale ears with boasts of new and violent exploits under the Burning Hate above 'for the glory of our people'.
"Through destiny and might," as he often reminds his contemporaries, "we shall rule supreme."

The crimson-haired Ilharess d'Selmiyeritar approaches the bulletin, likely to check on a dispute with a clearly suicidal male. Her gaze settles upon a drawing and then her lips twist upwards—it's a Cheshire cat grin with brows risen impossibly upwards. "Suicidal" does little justice to this: titled "The Great Berrilla of the Conclave," lacking both proper spelling of the Ilharess d'S'shamath's name and proper capitalization, includes a caricature of a spider beside a poorly-drawn pile of webbing.
The drowess simply gestures the nearest guard towards the childish insult of a Conclave member, something she apologetically admits to being such. There's a gentle urge: all non-citizens must display respect towards citizens, as per S'shamath law, and if the author of yet another inane rambling is not a citizen, he insulted a member of the Conclave. Even if he is a citizen . . . he still insulted a member of the Conclave.

Nargazul has boasted of a good deal he made in the Upperdark. He apparantly dealt very shrewdly appraising and trading with a drow merchant group and has a tidy profit to show for it.
Having returned to Sshamath without getting his purse - or throat - cut on the way, the male has sworn that he would buy anyone a drink at Glouras who would celebrate his good fortune and 'drow genius', with priority explicitly afforded to the Ilharess d'Selmiyeritar.

The drowess offers a blink at the news, though the flash of surprise is smothered the moment it came; it's replaced by her unerring grin, masking whatever wariness she has undoubtedly found. She chirps, "Perhaps he'll have a drink with the house and tell us all of his wit, for all good fortune comes from it."
She then muses, "This could very much be about my . . . feud with those Jaezreds. That or someone's looking for a fun little game. Either way, I'll not say no to a free drink of Calimshite amber."

The young man, seeming left to himself in the city, has spent a small fortune in the Sshamathan markets on the purchase of arcane lore. For hours on end he pours over the texts studying magical scrolls in the School of Necromancy.

The Pacifist Tiefling, Her Ideal Heart, Her Plan To Action
News travels quickly, when a presumed Surfacer Tiefling becomes a continued known stranger in the City of Sshamath.
It is not her first time here, or third, such is claimed.
She asks around for Flesh to Stone scrolls, and then begins her adventures, as the rumours suggest.
To coincide with this, there has been discussion of the Tiefling, who has begun creeping through the shadows of the Underdark, the rumours tell tale that this Girl knows her way around, as if guided by some invisible purpose, written on the walls.
Furthermore, the rumours discuss that she has begun petrifying Umber Hulks, Underdark Kobold Slaves and Displacer Beasts.
Rumours catch wind that the Girl carries these Beasts with Half-Orc Mercenaries by her side, and then simply vanishes as quickly as she came, leaving no true trail to catch whiff of.
The Surfacers are clearly quite strange, they might say.
Questions & Answers:
Question:
What does this mean?
Answer:
It means Cinnamon will near exclusively be actively found in Player VS Monster zones, capturing Monster Exclusive targets for her own purposes.
Please do as you feel, you have my full consent to consider these actions as motive to outright attack her as soon as she petrifies a Monster, no sooner, no earlier. Screenshots will be made and kept.
Question:
How do I get involved?
Answer:
Player scry will be online, showing which fields she inhabits, this will constitute as "Automatic Rumours" - You can make up how you heard about it, it will be a big deal that many would disclose her location, be it your Faction Spies or otherwise, even if not explicitly posted on Forums, it is presumed many would flee the scene or be present to combat the situation(s) at hand.
You may also Inbox me here or in-game with sendings or OOC tagged messages, I am always happy to talk.
Question:
Why now?
Answer:
I am happy to discuss that many players have, rightfully so, sabotaged her attempts at staying with monsters - Going as far to complete genocide, noted as "Everything runs away from you", when too many foes have been killed, and other such forms, including, though not limited too, destroying the entire area.
She has been antagonised, interrogated, bullied and told she is not doing enough. The icing on this landslide, was the Bugbear's being called beasts enough to poison the Chionthar River. Which she does not personally believe is even remotely possible, and even if it were in the realm of such, she refuses to accept it, be it naivete or stalwart heart of idealism.
She will no longer be "holding back" and will be doing her plans without "perfect planning in quiet zones", any longer.
She has decided to bring the change she must, with the actions she must, to what consequence, well, that is where all you lovely people come in, to decide how it works. <3
Any other questions? Shoot! I will answer them as best as I can.

In the Nauk'lar fighting pits today it is said Nargazul suffered a public defeat by a younger drow male named Vexyl'dyrr - who ironically and all the more humiliatingly defeated Nargazul using the Draa Velve fighting style he himself formerly professed mastery of.
It is said that during the contest, Nargazul could have killed a spectator with a nearly misdirected missile storm. He miscast another spell due to his cumbersome armor - and finally, to add insult to injury, the faern accidentally warded his opponent rather than himself before being cut down.
A very ashamed Nargazul was seen to march out of the Nauk'lar as soon as he gathered the strength to do so, and was later rumored to be badly hiding his injuries as he passed through the city market. It seems the life of a faern is a difficult adjustment for the drow warrior to embrace, especially in the arena...
