En Dharasha Everae RP thread

The village had a visitor today, a moon elf dressed in Mithril chain with long blue hair filled with feathers. Around her neck she had the holy symbol of Angharradh and Aerdre Faenya. After a discussion with Mendel the elf left to deliver a message to Doron Amar.

Several hours later in a flash of magical energy the elf returned. This time dressed in sky blue robes with her hair extended down to the back of her knees, still riddled with feathers. She spent the rest of the day talking to villages trying to calm their nerves, offer advice and blessings of the Triune. To those who did not believe in the goddess she offered Aerdre's blessing. Word was left for Mendel that their allies in Doron Amar had been informed and a response was forthcoming.

The moon elf took up residence in the village for the time being. Making it clear that all kin in need of emotional guidance or physical and emotional healing, are welcome to approach her.

It becomes swiftly apparent that the inhabitants of this village (wood and wild elves) don't believe in Angharradh's existence at all, some even going as far as asking "...who?". The moon elven priestess is, henceforth, assumed to be just a priestess of Aerdrie Fenaya.

Nobody requires physical or emotional attention (...at least for now), however the presence of priesthood seems to relieve some tension from the settlement.

*A certain moon elf steps out of a portal and leaves a note addressed to Mendel in the care of one of the rangers.*

Observing the preparations, the visitors and the reactions all around him, Kael slightly shakes his head, before commenting:

"You all seem to think this is a siege, and that we are being invaded. You will soon come to realize it's no such a thing. Think of it more like an architectural project...a graveyard. The one we'll build on the enemy's current location.

I can't wait to begin..."

rasping a chuckle, he disappears into the depths of the Arcane Study immediately after.

After the meeting with the village Elders... Nai was tasked by them and Mendel to go and speak with the Hybsils of the Misty Forest who have been suffering devastating losses at the hands of the Devils invading the forest.

She did not have to go into the forest alone however... As always the members of the hidden village always come to each other's aid. Kael (Korvain), Ithilwen DJaimin accompanied her as Nai set out to speak with the deerlike Fey.



They traveled through the winding forest with Nai navigating it like her backyard... finally they came to a ride and brush she asked the others to wait behind while she went near where she knew the Hybsils would be and communed with them. She spoke with them and their leader if there was one, in sylvan the language of the Fey.



She would first try and Heal and wounded the best she could and offered food from the gardens of EDE. After would offer them to come closer to the village for protection and ask them if they wished to work together to try and get rid of the Devils... basically asking for their help as well.

After the communion the four return to the little grove and continue to discuss ways to keep the tiny village and it's inhabitants safe from the Devils death and destruction and to get some rest.

A few days ago there was a meeting in the elven village about the Devil threat and the actions that need to be taken. While the meeting was in progress, a group of injured elves entered the village. They were from a nearby elven tribe that was attacked by the devils. Their leader is considered to be alive and a group is tasked to locate him.

*Immediately upon hearing of the Devils and other vile creatures in the North threatening the home of their allies, En Dharash Everae the hidden Elven settlement in the North, by multiple sources, The Order of the Silver Rose dispatches a small contingent of their Elite fighting force to the North. The 10 or so Fully Armed and Armored Knights would head to the Misty Forest as far as the Elven Rangers would allow, led by one of the OSR's Trackers Knight Warrant Lady Lea. While heading through the forest they would try to be as non disruptive to forest and wild life as possible. Once close they would submit the official orders signed and stamped with the official Order of the Silver Rose insignia. They would ask the elves to give the missive to Mendel, Kael or Ithilwen of the Village.*

The Missive would state:

Dear friends and allies of the En Dharasha Everae,

I hope by the time you read this it is not too late. We have heard from our Knight General, Lady Gina who was in your village the other day as well as another Elf that has come to aid you from the Southern Village of Doron Amar, Elvalia Nightstar, that the Devils and their Vile thralls are on your doorstep threatening your peaceful village.

Commander Seth has dispatched a small contingent, 10 of our Elite fighting force to your Aid. Led by our Tracker and Scout, Knight Warrant Lady Lea. These Knights have fought in nearly every major war on the Sword Coast all the way back to the Amn/Gate war, the Black Orc War as well as the Undead War. They are yours to command and place where they are needed most. We have also supplied them with Food, Healing and other Triage related items and they are no strangers to surviving in the wilderness.

Please let us know if there is anything else you need, the rest of the Knights (PC's) are on alert and ready to come to your aid on a moment's notice.

*Another missive is sent to the Council of Doron Amar to see if the threat has passed their village and whether or not the other half of their Elite Fighting Force can now be sent home to rest.*

*Councilor Eowiel appears in Dharasha, bearing a large bundle of something wrapped in oil cloth. She hands it over and proceeds to the temple of Rillfane, to pay her respects*

A lean figure materializes not far from the gates of En Dharasha, gaining the form of a sun elf female. She tells the ranger at the gates that she brings a message to the one named Kael.

The rangers would deliver the message to the mage's familiar, a huge bat called Nightwing. Shortly after, the creature would fly back from the Arcane Study with a new message, this time for the ranger:

I would be obliged if you could open the gate and lead her to the Arcane Study. I'll take care of our guest from there.

After several candlemarks in the Arcane Study, the sun elf female and the dark-robed arcanist she came to see parted ways as the former amicably left Dharashan premises. Whatever was discussed, both parties seemed satisfied with the outcome.

The Elves of En Dharasha Everae, can be seen constructing a small camp to accommodate about ten knights. Rangers are placing alarms in the perimeter and two of them are constantly guarding the area.

Seluonal Mendel, leader of the Caercilcarn is seen entering the Arcane Study, looking for Archmage Kael. After more than a candlemark of meeting, the two rendezvous with Archdruidess Nai and head towards the portal located at the edge of the Dharashan glade.

The southern borders of the Misty Forest appear to be silent. No wildlife is seen or heard in several miles. The barbaric human tribes living across the High Moor, likewise, seem to have mostly displaced themselves. Perhaps it was hobgoblins, that chased everyone away. Perhaps it was strange monsters, whos' tracks may be found on the Moors.

One thing is certain, however.. The Misty Forest is not a welcome place. Not because of some orcs roaming around, but because of dead Hybsils, burned trees and smell of brimstone spreading through the woods.

Peace is no more.

Those living nearby Misty Forest notice that from a small part of the forest... smoke began to heavily arise. And continued to do so for next following two days.
