Two figures trailed the path from Doron Amar to the western side of the Sharp Teeth, tipped about something happening by the glade cleansed by Hanali Celanil.
Mathora Captain Lylan'Synor along the ranger Nigel Blaquehawke and his dashing new mustache, would trail a blood path that leads to the glade, seeing it leads to the center of the glade with "enough blood to bleed out a giant" In the ranger's words.
Image
After checking the area, Lylan'Synor stays alone in the glade, shoveling the bloody ground into a sack and raking clean ground, carefully replanting some flowers.
When she is done, she changes into the most beautiful outfit she carried with her, did her hair and consecrated the ground, repeating a long prayer in high-elven.
Image
Those who happened to hear a faint and distant prayer while out and the woods, if they knew the language, might pick up some parts of the Sun Elf's words, directed at Hanali Celanil:
Hanali Celanil, Lady of the Golden Heart, The Rose Most Winsome;
Director of Beauty and Mistress of Romance, Beloved Baroness of Whimsy.
Her Most splendid, whose beautiful radiance once cleansed this ground once profaned,
and enshrined it in your name.

Hear my prayer; the call of a heart devoted to your beauty.
Witness my consecration, and ward this area of the evil that may lie beneath.
Hanali Celanil, whose smile is light and whose laughter is morning;
Let no corruption from blood shed here seep to your hallowed ground and despoil it.
Oh Lady of the Purest Heart, Exalted Grace who teach us to love, keep this place safe from corruption.
Let no evil intent or ugly deed befoul this ground.

As your magnificence once consecrated the ugliness from this place; keep it beautiful.
In your name, and your wisdom I humble myself before you.
Teach me of your beauty, and hear my prayer that this consecration safeguard your sacred glad and keep it beautiful.
With my love for the Glimmerwood and its beauty i ask and pray.
Hallowed be thy Beauty, my Goddess; The Gold in my Heart.
Lylan'Synor Syr'Asiryn, (aka Lily Summerheart)

The elf returns to the village, her appearance not quite disheveled but with a tiredness in her eyes that speaks louder than words. Her face is carefully calm, her tone neutral, lacking the usual warmth she is known for. The weight of the day's events, compounded by the now well-known other incident; a need for a release that must still wait. The Glimmerlady speaks with the rangers on watch and heads into the Mathora building. The news of the attack of dhaerow and the opening of the demon web pits just outside their their neighbor, Gullykin, walls on the dirt hill across from their theater and village entrance is shared.

Shieldmeet – Well met

Doron Amar. So many things happened. Tramahsthas was tiptoeing between the realm in the forest and the streets leading to the Friendly Arm Inn and beyond: to the bonfire and wagons of the Gur caravans and his friends. Wandering was something he enjoyed a lot. These days, phew, it really was something else. Shieldmeet was near, the holy celebration of his kin to honor his goddess, the triune goddess.

Even in the past years, traveling with the Gur, he always tried to celebrate with other elves during this time. If not possible, his Gur friends would receive a lecture about this facet of Shieldmeet, Cinnaelos’cor. Yes, the cultures of his origin and the chosen friends around him differ so much. But if there is one thing in common, it is the love to celebrate what is important to cherish. This day, these times of Shieldmeet, these are cherished and important moments.

He knew that his Gur friends, fully aware of his longing to celebrate with his brethren, wouldn’t hinder him. Yet, it would be a lie to say that he wouldn’t think of them. But here and now, this was a rare opportunity for him, looking back at the last two to three decades.

So, about Doron Amar and her people? Tramahsthas is a guest, like Solrialyn or Naer’eanque as well. Watching Natariel become a citizen, meeting Lady Suna and the priestess Lady Sylvara, a priestess of Angharradh—all these moments moved him. But most of all, he was moved by seeing children in the safe zones of Doron Amar, something he talked about with Solrialyn and Naer’eanque, sitting on the great balcony, watching and daydreaming, admiring the distant sight.

Children… what a treasure. They must be protected. And Paw, his spirit companion, strengthened this feeling, as if Tramahsthas’s own feelings weren’t strong enough already about this… “topic.”

One might not see the scurrying spirit badger frolicking around Tramahsthas, but what one might notice is the moon elf with the wood elven accent, seemingly creating a writing for something. One might hear his voice singing a melody, preparing a chorus of verses.

Very obviously now: after the meeting with Lady Suna and Lady Sylvara, he is preparing for Cinnaelos’cor. And coming around this “topic,” he would ask around, polite and careful, when and where the celebration of Cinnaelas’cor might take place. Second, he would ask if he is allowed to participate—because this would be the thing to do, as a follower of Angharradh.

Would someone answer him? Whatever would be said to him, he would react steadfastly friendly and calm, waiting for the coming celebration.

Cinnaelos'Cor approaches

Unread post by Tantive »

Cinnaelos’Cor nears, the Day of Corellon's Peace.

In literal terms, it means "Legendary Sabbath" or "Legendary Alliance-Meeting" – which is the formal elven term for Shieldmeet. Toils are to end, and time given for rest and worship.

A celebration of Corellon, and a day for Tel’Quessir to come together as the days of yore, making new bonds and the fostering and celebration of the old.

One peace comes to meet the other, it marks the end of the year and the start of a new one on the elven calenders.

One bond long considered was that of Doron Amar’s relation with En Dharasha Everae, and a teleportation portal will be made to bridge the distance between the settlements, and so intended to last until the end of the Day of Corellon’s Peace.

Preparations have been underway, and also an excitement to the celebration of the Three with the importance of the Temple of Angharradh to the settlement that is nearing completion.

((The period of celebration will last from evening 18:00 GMT Friday 2 August, well into Saturday 3 August (with some sleep in between). While some things are planned, you are free to bring your way of homage to Corellon too.))

Cinnaelos'Cor

Cinnaelos'Cor
(The Day of Corellon's Peace)

As Midsummer night changes into the early morning of Cinnaelos'Cor, the leap day arrives. One every four snows. It marks the passage of last year, and an ushering into the new. The village is bustling from the early hours, many having chosen azure blue within todays wear.

Visitors start arriving, from distant and nearing lands, in anticipation of today. Some explicitly choosing Doron Amar for todays celebration, for the temple of Angharradh being built, and the historical location of one of her Chosen.

For the time that Peaces meet, so have the villages Doron Amar and En Dharasha Everae. The invitation is open for its peoples to meet.

Merriment, reverence enjoyed through song and dance, the miriad of visitors and citizens of the village partook in the celebration. Many expressions of exultation to the performances and the day were enjoyed throughout.

After a quiescence of proceedings for rest, slowly activity returns for a continuation of gathering.

Song Deep in the Forest

Unread post by Flights of Fantasy »

Deep in the ancient forest, delicate notes of a melody join with the sounds of nature. The source is obscured by the dense canopy of towering trees, but the voice carries an ethereal quality - soft and lilting. It is the song of an elf maiden in the tongue of the people. Her melody rises and falls, only heard vaguely on the borders of the Glimmerwood, but it becomes clearer as one gets closer to the elven village. Yet the source is from without the village as it fills the air.

A Picture: The Crow and the Lioness

In the early evening, a drawing was hanging in a suitable place in the "Erevans Jest" inn. It truly seemed as if someone had done the Trickster a bit of honor and had some fun. A squirrel, it was said.

The artistic quality was a far cry from the mastery displayed by those elves who are truly engaged in painting.
But it served its purpose - perhaps. In any case, the squirrel is said to have been quite lively

Hey folks,
I'll be away starting tomorrow until next Monday, or possibly Thursday! I'm heading to Berlin for an apartment viewing and a few other appointments. Some of these will determine how long I'll be staying. Just wanted to keep you all informed! :)
A journey that is pleasant, a journey light of heart

The rightful time of the equinox has passed, and the wheel turns once more. Like sunlight breaking through morning mist, the forest slowly reveals shades of red, orange, and yellow, creeping through the lingering green. One by one, the trees are touched by autumn’s breath—Fall has arrived.

The days before were stormy with trouble, and no doubt those clouds will return. But for now? Tramahsthas is seen in Doron Amar, sharing words with fellow citizens, many of them known by name. His interests, however, turn toward the gardeners of Doron Amar, where he finds conversation blooming about their plans for spring. As winter's frost whispers on the horizon, he lingers in their company, perhaps lending a hand or merely listening. From time to time, he also engages with Tel’Quessir he has yet to meet, and when the children call for a tale or jest, how could he resist? A song, a story, or a playful trick—he delivers them all with ease.

These peaceful days are what he has missed, and with them, the quiet rituals performed over the three days where the equinox fell in the middle.

Yet, the winds beyond Doron Amar carried rumors from Baldur’s Gate, Greenest, and Triel. Of all the stories stirring, two weighed heavier on his mind. What of the demons who came so close, chasing Solrialyn? The thought chilled him. Why did they seem so intent on pursuing her? And then, there was Rachel and her sleepless nights—her "no sleep." That awkward encounter with Nicho, the Mandrake distillate... a shadow. Something needed to bring these troubles into the light.
On one such calm day, a sign appeared—a sign as simple as a drop of rain.

A small songbird flew close, landing softly on the wooden railing near the river, west of Doron Amar’s bridge.
There were no words needed, no magic of message or song.
It was a wren, chirping its song three times, hopping from perch to perch before flying off into the sky.

Is it time? Tramahsthas wondered, standing up with a quiet resolve. His destination: the Erevan Jest.
He sought out Eladoran, the innkeeper of the Jest, informing him of his coming absence. “Perhaps seven days, maybe a full tenday,” he said, though in his heart, he hoped his journey would not take longer.

Eladoran, familiar with Tramahsthas’s ways, wished him well. It was not the first time the bard had set off on a sudden venture. They had once shared a cider from the Moonshae Isles, and after a long conversation, Eladoran had asked:

“With the Gur?”

Tramahsthas had smiled politely, sharing a few stories of "his" caravan, his human friends—his other family.
Now, as the present unfurled before him, Tramahsthas prepared for his journey, telling those he met the same he had told Eladoran. Before leaving, he spoke to the guards as well.

“Seven days, perhaps a full tenday. Then, I will return.”

Some time after the night skies light up near the Friendly Arms Inn, and battle pursues, the elves of Doron Amar find their way into the Glimmerwood to consecrate a small area within against the possibility of the taint of evil caused by a bloody mass that fell from the sky. The remains being a bubbling mass of blood and goo, slowly dissolving on its own.

An announcement can be found at the "Jest"-Inn.

Stories in Misty Forest

The nights are getting rougher,
The days are losing their warmth

As in the old days, may the fire warm the body.
As in the old days, may stories illuminate the mind.

In „En Dharasha Everae“, a day of stories is to take place on
the 12th day of the current month.

Come and listen or contribute a story yourself.
Whether legend, fable, experience or just a story for amusement.

Even though the village will be full of stories,
there will be a larger gathering in or in front of the village tavern.
At the time, as the sun will be starting to sunk behind the trees.

High Moor Expedition Seeking Members

Alae and Mae Govannen

I plan to undertake a scouting and mapping expedition inside the ziggurat of the High Moor.
For those who are unaware, this is a highly dangerous area. The northern stretches of the High Moor
are filled with undead - Tel-Quessir now turned vampire and banshee. The ziggurat itself is the abode
of salamanders, a relative to yuan-ti with a natural affinity for fire.

I ask for the aid of any of Doron Amar who feel up to the challenge - and a challenge it will be, all the
more so if our numbers are low. I ventured in alone to get an idea of what awaits us, and while I was able
to reach the entrance to the structure unseen by the undead, once inside I did not get far at all. There was
a patrol of three salamanders just past the entrance, with one of them being a powerful mage. There is
also a construct of iron or steel inside, perhaps a guardian of old that still fights to protect the ziggurat
against the salamanders - a potential ally.

There is no date yet for when this expedition will begin, but it will be at least a tenday and a half from the
date of this posting, which is 4 Marpenoth. If you are interested, leave your name here on this notice or
find me around Doron Amar, Greenest, or the Friendly Arm Inn. Most of you know me by now.

The notice is signed with the name Laethelas Sil'Damor-el
((Aiming for 8:00AM PST Saturday, 19 October. That would be 11:00AM EST, 1200 Sao Paolo, 1600 London, 1700 Frankfurt, 1800 Moscow))
