Rumors of the Northern Sword Coast

Tensions are running at a knife's edge throughout the elven settlement in the Misty Forest as the community prepares for the looming council showdown ( Saturday the 26th). With dark factions closing in and old prejudices threatening to tear the village apart, the sudden fallout from these brewing conflicts has somehow turned the distant fire giants of the Graypeaks into the ones paying the ultimate price.

Raider: "Hmm... why not! We're here for giant hunting anyway. But! I don't care much for money. I'd like to ask you a couple of questions instead as payment."

Armored Wizard: "Questions?"

Pirate: "Perhaps some powerful items or gear, savvy? Ye can waste your reward with questions, peh!"

Raider: "Yes! *He nods.* You seem like an interesting person to know."

Warrior: *shrugs* "Yeah, I'm good with gold."

Armored Wizard: "Rewards for two and inquiry for the tiefling. Interesting."

Raider: *He tilts his head, smirking.* "So? Do we have a deal, saer mage?"

Armored Wizard: "It is agreed."

A small group of men hunting giants in the Greypeaks was stopped by a mysterious figure shrouded in steel and black cloth. Made curious by the unlikely visitor, the three spent some time talking, and were made aware of a certain task that the mage required assistance for. After their business was concluded, the mage disappeared, although the circumstances of their parting implied this may not be the last the three see of him.

Rumor of this event made its way to the marketplace of Soubar in the evening, as the three men met with an icy maiden knight, other frequent member of their band, and shared the tale with her, wondering over the identity and affiliation of the mage.
