Councilor Naer'eanque at her walkings through the village

It was not uncommon to see Councilor Naer'eanque strolling through the village.
It was also not uncommon to strike up a conversation with her.

In the days that followed, one might have gotten the impression that she was seen even more often. She was particularly present in the parts of the village where families lived and craftsmen went about their daily work. She was open for conversation and sought conversation by herself.
The talkings often began with general topics, questions about how the people and tehir family were doing. Often, the conversations remained at this level.
She also asked the craftsmen for advice on building a tree house and used this as a way to strike up a conversation.

She took the time to answer questions from the citizens when they approached her. She also listened to their concerns.

After all, there was a lot for reason for being worried:

A dragon that had been flying in circles and could be seen from the village.
Strange fireflies and visitors.
The phenomena in the sky and sea that people might had heard about.
The eerie howling coming from Ulldon's Trail.
Rumors of monsters in the woood.
And now there were banners with the sign of the one-eyed seen near the village.

The councilor tried to avoid panic and did not go into the issues in too much depth.
However, she did at least try to explain that the dragon had been a friend.

The eerie howling would not harm anyone if they stayed away from the plantlike hounds, should they see any.

The monsters, whether they are acting in the name of the One-Eyed or other forces, would be dealt with.
After all, the village was protected by the brave Mathora, led by the courageous Captain Lylan'Synor. Now reinforced by the return of Catam.

Then there were Bladesinger Elyssa, Windsinger Faelyn, and the Glimmerlady herself. In the way she gave the examples and she had placed the words, it was noticeable in the way she was speaking, that the list could be actually much longer.

However, vigilance was still required when leaving the village.
For those seeking advice and support in their faith, Naer'eanque offered her assistance as a priestess.

And the most important message she tried to give:

They are not alone. And they will stand firm as the oak. As kin. As a community.

A courier wearing Mystran regalia would arrive on a fine horse carrying a letter which would be handed over to one of the watchers should they accept it.
Image

The letter itself would have a Mystran seal on it. Once delivered, the courier would depart in somewhat haste, perhaps off to deliver another parcel somewhere else, riding away from the village.

With the name Vanira written upon the sealed scroll, the ranger on watch takes it in hand. The elves then offered the rider a bit of food and water for both himself and his stead, allowing them a brief moment of rest before continuing their journey to deliver the next parcel.

The scroll, it finds its way passed onward to one of their own couriers, who set off at once towards the Glimmerlady's home. It was to join the flight of paperwork dragons upon her desk. The ever-growing stack of a tasks to tend to. If only these dragons would come with gems in tow....

Her footfall takes pause, the usual wince and the rubbing of her ear as her eyes look distance... a sending. Vanira's eyes close and there in that moment, she grabs at the symbol of the Crescent moon around her neck. When her eyes open, her facial expression is a mask carefully chosen as she heads now, towards the temple to pray. Here Selune's name is spoken as well as those of the Seldarine.

The oath has been kept.

The day had proven not to be a dull one....

Under the canopies of the ancient trees that surrounded Doron Amar, one of the most curious of sights was the Glimmerlady sprinting through the village towards the gates. The hem of her dress was lifted high in one hand to ease her stride, her voice clear and commanding as she called for healers to follow her.

At the village gate, the rangers had their bows drawn, eyes narrowed at the two approaching figures. What ever they saw stirred up unease. Their aim would be true. It was only at the Glimmerlady's command to "Stand Down!" that their hands eased and their bows reluctantly lowered.

Time passed before the party passed back through the gate. The Glimmerlady leading the way once more. Here she make sure the bows remained lowered. Two large men, one elven the other not, guided the one that brought unease up to the temple.

There was no pause, they walked silent and purposeful.

The oath has been kept.

A New Visitor and Old Friends

A quiet traveler in dusky clothing, bearing the marks of long roads and wilder paths, was seen approaching the gates of Doron Amar. It was clearly his first visit, and he moved through the village in silent amazement while cautiously taking in the sacredness of the place.

Not long after he greeted some of the settelement's inhabitants, including at least one of its councillors, a rare sight stirred the village: a small procession of ancient treants passed through, their towering forms creaking with age. They spoke in calm tones with the new visitor and the children of Correllon Larethian, as if catching up with old friends. The treefolk mentioned they were bound for the "Dome of Rainbows" and only stopping by briefly before continuing on their journey.

Whether the ancient beings visit was mere coincidence or somehow drawn by the visitor's presence, none can say.

When the friendly arms inn had an incident involving a wood elf, jumping from the top of the keep to their death, a bladesinger and their companions affirmed over the corpse. So released from Bentley's custody. The wood elf was rumoured to have yelled out "I'm a hellfire dragon!" before plunging down, amidst showing odd behaviour beforehand near the inn.

Taken to Doron Amar, a priest of Corellon performed a resurrection ritual with a succesfull attempt bringing the elf to a new chance at life.

A red-haired elf roamed through Sharp-Teeth Forest, better known among elves as Glimmerwood. It was not an unusual sight.

She seemed to be conversing with the plants and trees. She smiled and grinned repeatedly. The apparent ease of the conversation made it seem as if she were chatting with passersby in a market square. However the elf clearly showed respect.

Every now and then, she pointed in certain directions and apparently asked further questions. Sometimes she was going into the pointed direction, and sometimes not.

Sometimes, after a few steps - maybe, after she walked around a bush or tree - her appearence gone lost...

The unrestfull Priestess - The thoughtfull Councilor

After her latest setback, which she deeply regretted and weighed heavily on her shoulders, she spent a day in contemplation in the forest.

When she returned to Doron Amar the next day, she spent part of the morning in the office. Letters were distributed.
After that, however, she wandered through the village. For attentive eyes, she seemed somewhat restless and pensive. Deeper in her thoughts, then usual.

She tried to strike up conversations with the people. She had no priorities or preferences.
It didn't matter if they were craftsmen, artists, Mathora, or just citizens.
She wanted to find out what was on people's minds in general.
Were there any problems? Any ideas or wishes?

She also offered her services as a priestess of Rillifanes and her arts as a healer.
Was there perhaps someone who needed advice? Or medical assistance?
Assistence with plants or animals? Or otherwise support?

In the early morning of the 28th of Eleasis, three elves arrive at the gates of Doron Amar: Two males clad in gleaming mithral plates, carrying longswords and shields; and a female wearing fine mithral chains, wielding a longbow made from otherworldly wood. They deliver a letter addressed to Captain Lylan'Synor Syr’Asiryn, and request an audience with the captain and the council.

The Village was on alert after the warning had been sent; black orcs moving through the Glimmerwood... an enemy the People would neither forget or forgive.

Only a few candlemarks after the warning had been given, the Glimmerlady appeared, as if by magic, upon the path with a small group beside her. They bore the marks of recent battle upon them, as did she, her dress in tatters her expression alert and concerned.

The rangers at the gate reacted at once, bows raised and strings drawn taut. Just as quickly, they lowered their weapons at the Glimmerlady’s signal and words to stand down. One among her company, cowered behind despite the calling the guards aim being lowered. The man in the hat was not about to risk the chance of a 'accidental' stray arrow...

Words were exchanged with those keeping watch, and soon after, more figures arrived. Of those gathered, five entered the village, while the rest lingered near the path that lead to the Village, waiting for word to be sent back to them.

Time slipped by....

One woman then emerged from the village, her clothes spattered with blood. No, splattered would be the wrong way to describe it... it was a storm of blood. Her clothing and skin were covered... heavy droplets clung to them in a chaotic pattern. It spoke not of a personal injury, but of being in the close proximity of something that was very violently undone.

The presence of one that had lingered outside the Village, approached concerned.

Minutes later, the Glimmerlady stepped out, she too, was covered in blood.... dark wet patches that soaked into her tattered dress, her hair, her pale skin. Sharp eyes would see that there was more than just blood... there were bits of flesh... viscera... there was nothing 'glimmering' in this scene. Her facial expression was one that looked as if she was still processing whatever had just transpired within the Village.

Two others followed close behind her; untouched by blood... yet heavy expressions having witnessed a violence that would likely haunt them the rest of their days.

Brief words were exchanged between them before groups parted ways.

Earlier in the day the Knightly Lord Lyonaler entered the Village and met with the Glimmerlady within her dwelling. About a candle mark later he once more exited, seeming to be in a hurry to the next meeting.

Solemn hour in the middle of evening, Alasaris, Vanira, and the Micar Iliathor sisters deliver the remains of kin in preparation of interning, as well as its presumed recovered offspring for rest.
