Druidic Orc followed by a blood stealing cultist has been sighted murdering the helpless on the tradeway. This orc disguises itself as a mercenary. So far it has killed two elves and speaks about attacking the Friendly Arm inn. It can be seen in dire wolf form scoping out its victims. This orc is not to be trusted, as it is extremely dangerous. A price of 20,000 gold has been raised to remove it from these lands.
The glory of the morning lord,
Squire Thomas.
A short man with expanded waist line, worn half plate and an axe in hand calls about
"Me looken for this Squire Thomas, Some sort of Lathandrite!" He shouts out with a gruff and gargled voice, spitting some chew on the cobble stone. "Me... Me, I am Fanigan of the Wood"
Fanigan holds up a bag waving it about before dropping the sack on the ground, an orc head rolls out. "Me here for dem bounties. All 20,000 shiny pieces of it!. Pay ups!"
Fanigan puts his booted foot upon the orcs head, his big toe sticking out of the poor seams of the boot.
"it is Orc!, caught it talken to tree. Was all like. Wood Wood Wood Woooood Woody wood wood" *he nods his head* "dats what he said, swear upon me ugly mother."
*holding his hand for the gold* "Pay or be known as a scab!"

A tel'quessir woman in royal blue and gold has been asking around the Balder's Gate docks about the whereabouts of a Cillian. She believes him a member of a crew of a "deep sea boat" named The Whistling Wandress. Only speaking her native tongue makes this task harder, but her affinity to pay well for the information might make her information gathering a bit easier. She does seem persistent. She spreads only that her name is Lunulata and her reasons are private.

Those who have eyes to see can witness Shea the Redhair spending considerable amounts of time with various merchants, sailors, ship captains and several other more or less odd figures in the harbour district of the Gate.
She buys lots of unusual things, among them a wooden tab and three black chicken.
After three days of lingering around in the harbour she rents a cart, hires a young man to drag it, packs her newly aquired possessions on it and leaves the town, heading towards Wyrms Crossing.

A gnome dressed all in blue is seen visiting a few temples, those of Tymora and Mystra in particular, followed by a visit to The Wide and a consultation with Mystic Margaretta.
She can be heard muttering and grumbling about "lacking essential services".

Murder at the Friendly Arm Inn
Some of those reading this would no doubt have heard about the recent violence at the Friendly Arm Inn. What was described by one of the perpetrators as an attack in response to an insult to their musician ring, ended in a vicious execution of a man and a halfling. The halfling received no list of grievances in an attempt to justify the crime. But the "defenders of freedom" used the opportunity to carry out a murder with nothing but self-proclaimed authority.
And what kind of man would carry out this grisly act? A self-proclaimed priest of Ilmater. A man who execute Kahanak Habdilof as he lie unconscious, unable to flee or defend himself. Yes, he prepared for the attack the priest and his mob had declared they would engage. Yes, he did attempt to defend himself, instead of cowering after the threat. But as he lied there on the ground at the attackers' mercy, he was slain and his possessions taken, like the bandits that so frequent the Trade Way.
Is this the kind of man the temple of Ilmater fosters? Is this the kind of men people that suffer can turn to? Do people in pain on death's door require to be "good enough" to merit being spared? Ask yourself, faithful of the Broken One: Does this man's actions reflect the guidance of your temple?
The enclave recognizes that this incident was the result of antagonization. While both sides of the conflict enlisted aid, the choice to kill was of one individual. The enclave also recognizes that this took place in a lawless land. Why the perpetrators chose to enact their justice there instead of turning to the laws of the duchy is anybody's guess, there's no mention of it in the priest's manifesto. Perhaps he sees Baldur's Gate's laws and justice as a hindrance to his actions. As it stands, no crime was committed by ducal law, by both parties. But it is the wish of the enclave to denounce the actions of lawless vigilantism. If a crime is committed, by any man or woman, let them speak so to the courts.

Among all the drama and dangers some folks don't let themselves be discouraged. They are hanging up posters, more and more. Freya herself helps with it and sais to those who speak with her:
"Come in peace and friendship and i'm sure we'll have a good time together. Don't miss it..... Besides some good prize coins are waving for the best act that day.", she winks and walks on.

Another rumour had spread through the Trade Way, this time coming from Baldur's Gate; it speaks of a family of farmers in the east gate. The father has been lying in bed for nearly a season. He was so sick the family could barely work the crops to survive. One of the five sons, encountered a woman, she wasn’t and adventurer. The woman carried bags, plants and skulls of little animals, or this way she was described by the kid. He took her home and convinced his mother to allow the woman to inspect the father. No one knows what happened in that room during the hour the woman was inside. When she came out, the room had paintings of blood around the bed, in the floor and in the walls. And it was full of feathers and with an intense smell.
The family was scared at the beginning, but next day, the father started to work in the crops again, completely recovered and healthy.

Rumors spread of a new merchant walking through the harbor district, selling mediocre goods at best to anyone showing enough interest, listening to gossip whenever offered. His "shop" only consisting of his petty backpack.
"De Name's Kingsley, Erik Kingsley" He'll tell anyone who asks.

Pairs of dark armored warriors can be seen all over the Coast searching message boards and anywhere else posters might be found. For those paying attention, they seem to be taking down old bounty posters.
The men all wear black cloaks clasped with Ebon Blade brooches.

Ceremonial Candles are lit within the Halls of Inner Light in honor of the loss of Sister Adolina, a servant of Ilmater who made a real difference within the city of Baldur's Gate. Aidan Thatcher stands about to council any who is of the seven faiths of the Halls of Light, in the loss of the near saintly woman, assuming she had made friends among many faiths and people.
Also, a wreath of roses and vines is constructed and put outside the Temple of Ilmater, as a sign of respect to both the temple and the fallen sister, an attempt by the halls of light to show that their thoughts are with those of Ilmater.

A brig is docked in Baldurs Gate unannounced taking on lumber, water and supplies enough for a sizable crew. A higher than normal amount of press gangs are seen as well.
