Familiar and Sorceress, both now reunited, rest...
Something surprising happens, and the cat's tail flicks in an acknowledging approval as the tiny elven woman is heard praying... for the first time in far too long... To the Triune Goddess that her dear friends and allies survive the battles they face.
When she is stronger, much to the silver cat's dismay... she ventures out to the Statue, and studies it for long hours.
Something has changed in the small elven woman... but it is far too soon to say what or why.

In the breaking dawn, in Doron Amar, three Elves greet the rangers in soft voices and make their way up the dimly lit trails toward the tents. They appear as though a war had happened and were returning for the first time. Battered and bruised, Ceres Gysse'lylth tailing behind them is ripped to shreds. His armor was in need of repair, his stuck back with sweat, blood and perhaps a tear or two, and hoarding what was once in his pack on his back tied with rope.
At least two of them would collapse into their tents. Later on, Ceres would help spread rumors in the Inn about a trip to Amn, where Tyressen, Baelather and himself fought for two long days with two dracoliches.
"Bones weighty as steel, ah tell yeh. Held together with magic and sheer force of power, its roar like a clap of thunder, graded by crickets legs!" Ceres' animated hands explained.
He spoke a tale of a curse that held a spirit "like the daughter of an angel," who was tormented at the bottom of the underground labyrinth where the shades and shadows dwell. The name Durek also slipped in his tale, a Helmite he told to have saved his life, and led their charge to save the spirit.

Tyressen drags himself up the hill not far behind Ceres. A large piece of his armor falls off, partially charred, he simply stares at it; lacking the energy to pick it up. His hair is stained in blood, and his eyes have a long exhausted stare to them. The elf throws the crumbs of a mangled flute at Ceres, and grumbles falling over just short of the tents. A thud followed by the clanking and breaking of metal is heard, as he finds himself oddly comfortable on the dirt. "Damn bards.. Damn songs.." He groans and rolls over on his face closing his blood shot eyes...

Baelather gave a stern look back to Ceres as they entered the town. He didn't say anything, as he hoped know what the visual cue meant. Baelather's armor wasn't shiny, nor particularly impressive looking. Not that it would be in the first place. But the undead decided to aid him in making it look worse. He'd gotten used to it by now, so his face didn't show any ill emotion towards the state of his armor. His eyes were sunken in, and it looked like he may be missing part of an eyebrow. "Someone had to stop that ghost." He said to the others, with a shrug before heading off to the tents.
Once night had fallen though, the battered and bruised Cleric could seen sitting just outside his own tent. Shirtless, covered in bruises and small patches of ripped off skin. The bruises were attributed to his adventure. But the patches of ripped skin were fresher. And to the person whom simply has eyes it would be obvious it was due to the fact he had slowly ripped it off while getting off his once white cloth shirt he wore under his under-armor of Mithral chain.
Baelather was cleaning off that shirt, though it seemed somewhat half hearted. To be completely honest, he was simply dunking it in and out of water - and then angrily staring at the shirt, then the bucket. He spoke a few words as he did his work. "I do hope that water I blessed is doing better than you are." After having had said that with a chuckle, he fell silent and went back to angry-cleaning his shirt. Eventually putting his cloak around himself as the night got colder.

Ceres would miss his flute, one he swindled off a fine lady. Miss it dearly. The next day, he would hum the tune to the song he'd sang the entire way back to Doron Amar from Amn.
"Sticks and stones didn't break his bones, General of the Amn fleet, Gerrerro's defeat, came with the passing of those kidney stones. Those kidney stones. Those kidney stones. Oh, oh, those kidney stones..."
He caught a glimpse of Tyressen, across the way and instantly stopped his humming. Tyressen's voice played in the back of his mind: "If I hear that song one more time, so help me--"
"Gh," Ceres gulped and veered into the market to gather more fruits and to find a fresh blanket. "Ah, think I need another day's rest."

Bre walked by, seeing the three. He passed a glance at them for a moment, then decided now would probably not be the best time to be cheeky.
"Hrm, I'll have te see if Rhys is 'bout then. These lot need some time te get bettah."
He murmered to himself, then walked off to the tower. Leaving the men to rest.

The small Elven woman known as Echo can be seen making frequent trips from Doron Amar to the Friendly Arm Inn. She still seems considerably weakened, but she seems in better spirits. She seems far less detached, unless she is spending hours studying the statue to the Triune Goddess, Angharradh in Doron Amar...
Strangest of all is that she introduces herself as Eliania now... something has changed, whether that is for the better or not... is anyone's guess.

Mealir was seen on the outskirts of Doron Amar, asking one of the rangers to deliver a message to the elven smith. He left soon afterwards.

Recently Doron Amar received two rather uncommon visitors: two tieflings wearing the trappings of travellers, one male and one female. The woman had light grey hair, the man had black. The man was also wearing an eyepatch and had a longbow strapped to his back.
The front rangers of Doron Amar got the explanation that the two had arrived for trading - and indeed they eventually made their way to the blacksmith.
What makes their visit interesting, though - aside from their heritage and perhaps surprisingly good manners, is that the tiefling woman in particular seemed very interested about the village's buildings, especially the big tower. The two guests admired it for a long while, before leaving the town again, conversing amongst themselves about local orcs.

Good job keeping an eye on them, but next time please remind them that guests should not cross the bridge without and escort.

// OOC: Damnit, forget and retcon the whole thing then!

I had a sneaking suspicion that something like this could be the case, but I went with assumptions of other characters in-game - that the place could be visited. Is this information more readily available somewhere?

A young elven wizard is was seen near the gates of Doron Amar.. being not able to enter the city he leaves a letter for the officials on the hands of the gates guardsman....
after close examination you can read on the envelope:
From: Deez I'dek
To: Council of Doron amar
If you would open the letter it is clearly an application for joining the community with a special mark put on the wizard studies in the arcane tower.

A middle-aged Moon Elf, dressed in dark leather garb with a large longbow across his back, stands at the front entrance of Doron Amar. He slowly looks around, a look of happiness cracking his otherwise sullen face. With one last look back, he steps out into the Wood, heading back to the Friendly Arm Inn.
Quietly, only to himself to hear, he whispers, "Mayhaps, there could be another home for a weary elf, beyond that one taken by the shadow of the evil darkskins......"

Laitae approaches Doron Amar carefully. She stops by the bridge, not daring to go further, and holds her hands up, showing a letter to the rangers on the other side. After a moment she passes over the bridge and hands one of them the letter, saying it is for Master Rhys. The letter is sealed by Candlekeep's official symbol.
