Good. so it sounds like it's working for you. Cause I tried it and it was working fine for me so I was kind of stuck on why you were having problems.

no, i speak about the grapple not the damage. it seems to me that EBT are not grappeling anything.
my guess was that the elementals may not be grappeld because they had DR (still wondering why i wasn't grappeld then) and that this might not be intended.
or are you telling me that EBT are supposed to not grapple anything that resists the damage after a hit?

ok I get where this is confusing.
The grapple is basically the damage. And then I think a fort roll or you are paralyzed a round.
If the target is hit a grapple check is made (d20 + caster level + 8 vs the targets BAB + strength modifier + d20). A successful grapple deals the damage as normal.

so maybe the wording should be changed or told that it does not really grapple, i took that spell because i thought it has CC potential
and actually it just increases my confusion a lot because i read in the tipps and tricks part of the forum
(
http://bgtscc.net/viewtopic.php?f=49&t= ... s&start=15 )
that this is what cool kids take these days instead of Bigby-6, so i wonder why i am the first of those to realize it does not grapple
but ok, thats certainly not your concern so thanks for the effort.

I would like to report some oddities with the Hellfire Warlock.
When being dispelled I have noticed "Hellfire Blast" and "Hellfire Shield" being dispelled. Even though the modes are not on.
Furthermore, when you use Hellfire Blast & Hellfire Shield after being dispelled of these invisible buffs, the constitution is not decreased properly. You loose the appropriate amount of HP, but you dont loose the CON, atleast not consistently.
This ends up in the Warlock not getting the HP of the lost CON back when the -CON debuff is restored using restoration spells. Which has always been the case when you do have these invisible buffs.
Thanks in advance

I've even seen hellfire warlocks be able to stack health using this method because when you restore your constitution the hitpoints you 'restore' are added to your maximum hitpoints. It's a dirty exploit. Dirty, dirty, dirty!

Is there anything in the works to fix the Cool Down Timers and Transitioning bugs?
I love the feats Knockdown and now Improved Knockdown but the cool down timers after transitioning make this very frustrating especially while in a dungeon and no way to rest. (Just to mention one)

You can still use the abilities. Just right click your enemy and activate Improved Knockdown from the drop-down list. The same can be applied to self-cast abilities with a cooldown like Rage. Just right click your PC and activate it from that drop-down list.

There was nothing exploity about it when it worked as it used to. You fired a hellfire bolt and it decreased your CON by one, it also removed the proper amount of HP. Which you then regained when using restoration. Isnt that how its supposed to work, or am I totally wrong?

I'll take a look at fixing the Warlocks Raven but it doesn't look like I can do anything about it. Does this happen on other servers as well? It appears to be related to the dispel function but I can't touch that code because it's in the engine.
I may have to write a replacement dispel check.

I dont know about different servers. Now I cant seem to make it work like it used to even when not being dispelled. (Tried logging in and out, server reset etc).
Seems like a recent patch might have broken it. I will investigate further and try to narrow down the problem for you.

There hasn't been a recent patch that changed Warlock invocations or Hellfire as far as I know.

well like i said, hellfire was fixed here because normally without the fix you can cast deathward on a hellfire warlock and use hellfire abilities without any CON loss, to me it sounds as if that is what is being dispelled but i dont know exactly how it was done only that it was done, so you might want to check that and make it something that can not be dispelled if thats the issue
