I haven't tested it recently but the last time someone used it the similcrum sent the PC to the Fugue.

Archruga ( Or archrega ) I forget! I'll check it when I get home from work but yeah... Im all for conflict role-play. Whips n chains, handcuffs!

Oh! And a public note on me, I don't need to know why you're attacking me, don't need to be warned or even see role-play. I give the benefit of the doubt players are mature, respectable and know this game is just pixels on a screen outside from being a game. So, only if thing's got excessive would I give a nudge to the player. Other then that, I don't mind a little bit of style to the way you go about murdering me. Have fun! Be mature.

I see people have still signed up even since the new PvP rules were announced. It makes me wonder if the rules section is being read. I am not really sure what the need is for this thread anymore ...

There is a need for the thread, actually. Since according to the new rules an out ought to always be given. And nothing has changed in regards to PvP club. People signing up trust each other enough for their characters to have an IC reason for an attack, and no outs are necessary, no warnings preceding PvP such as a chat or emoting, for example.

The old PvP rules stated an OOC out and the new state a RP out. That is a significant difference. The former was intrusive to RP and the latter should be conducive to RP. For that reason I just didn't see the need for the club any more. The new PvP rules are clear and sensible with respect to RP. I thought everyone needed an IC reason to attack another character PvP club member or not?

In fact the first sentence of the original thread post seems to have put the reason for the club as the issue the new PvP rules addessed:
Akavit wrote:This thread is for those players who enjoy RP-oriented PvP and want to be able to engage freely in it without having to send OOC tells asking permission prior to engaging.

In light of these new rules it really seems less a matter of trust and more a love of PK to persist. A few of the times in the past when I have had a character attacked with no RP, just a plain old PK; it was a PvP club member (and I've never even been a member). I was hoping the new PvP rules ended the confusion of who was and was not a club member. You seem to be saying that there is no need to RP if folks sign up here. That doesn't make much sense to me. If there is no RP then it is little more than a PK club.

Sorry for the verbosity-- just wanted to better explain my previous post and why I wrote what I did :)
