A sealed letter is handed to one of the Temple Guards at the entrance of the bulding by a wizard in green robes. The wax seal resembles open eye with letter H inside it. The man hands it over with a request;

"Please make sure this reaches High Lady Alcarin or Moonlady Rania as soon as possible."

The man then nods and makes his way out of the temple.

The Moonlady gets the letter, then suddenly smiles though it is a humorless smile and more of a darkly satisfied one. After stuffing the letter into her tattered leather satchel, she turns on her heels and heads right back out the door in a hurry.

The area outside the Halls of Inner Light would soon reveal a most delectable variety of scents drifting out today, as those inside begin to prepare a veritable feast for the New Years Celebration. A menu of the foods to be offered is listed up for preview.

After the events that transpired during last night's celebration of new year, the council has decided that certain consequences should be drawn out.

Let it hereby be known that a man known as Msciwoj or White Tiger is forever bannished from the Halls of Inner Light and it's property, if he decides not to comply he is to be forcefully removed by the Ruby Rose.

Similarly Michael Dunn, Vala Dunn, Reineke of the Guild of Arcane and Dimitry of the Guild of Arcane are hereby on a one month probation ending on ((February 7th). If they break the peace or rules of the temple they will be bannished from the property for another month. This also means they won't show presence without a member's company.

A fur clad barbarian warrior presents himself at the Halls of Inner Light. He gives his name as Cynric of the Greyfox, and asks to be taken to the refugees from Selune's Bracelet, as promised!

"Chief Widehips", upon hearing this, would literally slap a hand against her face then shake her head before uttering, "Selune my mother, give me strength" before going to meet the fur clad warrior.

*During the day, many could see a young woman with silver-white hair, dressed in a vine-leaf decorated tunic with red accents, wander around the Gate and pinning notices in public places. Some would recognize the person as Alcarin a Highlady of The Halls of Inner Light.*

Good people of Baldur's Gate,
Some of you may have noticed, as we have, a duo of Torm's and Helm's faithful spreading hateful preachings about supposed threats inside the city when there are Malarites and drows hunting, torturing and murdering people, when monsters grow ever stronger and bolder and when hard times like the catastrophe of Selune's Bracelet falls upon us. While the Halls of Inner Light focus on these real problems our name is being spit on and stepped on by two zealots trying to sate their craving for a witch hunt. But believe me those are nothing more than musings of people who couldn't care less about others and more about their own standing and propaganda. We may have made ill-advised judgments and mistakes in the past, but ever since it's foundations have been laid the Temple of the seven goddesses who represent love, compassion, beauty, guidance and protection, have always tried to help the best way we know how. But let me make one thing clear...we have not and would not have ever joined forces and collaborated with enemies of the city or anyone who we knew would only wish harm and misery upon others.

So let the hateful and misguided preach darkness and fires of hell, we do not have time or energy for such, instead ask yourself what else did they do other than trying to pit one good person against another? How, even if real, would they get their hands on an intern letter of a drow guild based deep in the Underdark? Why do they choose to focus on chasing rumors and discredit others instead of trying to fight the actual darkness out and about?

Sadly we do not have resources to stand out in the streets trying to push our own warped views on others, or wage a battle of wits with dimwits...instead we will be in our temple and streets helping where we can, patroling the roads and planning to stop the real threats lurking in the shadows. All I ask of you all is to think for yourself and discern what is only spiteful blabber and what really matters.

I would humbly ask you to remember how our members fought to free Kheldrivver from plagued trolls even before the temple was built, how our beloved, now retired, leader Lady Erza de Aldren uncovered vile plot to misuse people of the dock district, saved them from being beaten and worked without pay by the North West Trading company, how we took in refugee after refugee when needed and offered work, shelter and resources to those in need despite the fact that we do not engage in trade or sell our services. How we always stood with the good and righteous people against evil and cruelty whenever we had a chance. Trust in your hearts and please stand with us when we are being attacked and bombarded with faux accusations by those who only talk about mistrust and anger and who preach about pain and punishment instead of love and peace and unity.

The Moonlady of the Halls, her amulet of Selune prominetly on display, would be there with the High Lady, showing the solidarity behind the message being posted.

A lady in black hair, sure footed in her stride, would be seen entering the Shelf of Many Books empty handed, and would leave shortly there after with four books in her hand.
She would be seen to have walked to the Halls of Inner Light and gone inside.

The young Silverstar known as Tess, one of the Halls' more recent recruits, has grown scarce in recent days.
For a time a frequent figure, it's been many nights since she has been seen within the Halls at all.

The Moonlady can be seen leaving the Halls today in a hurry. She gives no destination and only says she will return when a few matters have been settled for good. A thick stack of parchment would be notated tucked under one arm.

After an absence of more than a tenday, the Silverstar Tess returns to the Halls, very early in the morning prior to the day's meeting. Despite the whispers and murmurs that follow in her wake from some of the other priestesses and members, she carries about her business quietly, and some time after dawn, the smell of fresh cinnamon rolls wafts from the kitchen...

The Moonlady, after a lengthy talk with another Halls member in the upper chambers of the building, would be seen this night out watching the stars. Equipped with sexton, compass, quill and ink, and numerous charts, it would seem she is intently graphing out a map of the stars. For what purpose, however, remains known only to herself. For those with keen hearing, carried among the breeze might be heard (but only once) a quiet "Your sacrifice will not be in vain, Sister. They have returned, and this time, they -will- be stopped. Your Sisters will see to it. Selune shine upon us all now."

A blue-and-silver themed gift arrives at the Halls of Inner Light for "Moonlady Rania Arowaven."
The point of origin shows as "Office of the Guide, Candlekeep."
A sealed missive has been placed between some of the bath products.

Tonight, in the Halls of Inner Light, several came together.

A favored of Eldath, a druid, a follower of Sune, a Reader of Candlekeep, a faithful of Selune, a monk, and a new face to the area, along with the Moonlady of the Halls, all joined voices to conduct a cleansing and purification ritual for the waters of the local area, which seem to have been contaminated with the condition known as Filth Fever.
