Comprehend Language doesn't appear to work with druidic. Possibly others but I haven't had a chance to test many.

Both Quillfire for warlocks and Rainbow Blast roll only one dice of damage and multiple the result rather than rolling the number of dice indicated.

There's a list of exceptions, druidic included, I'm inquiring about the reason.

No to both, first looks like sheer unluck, second is likely due to a narrow space as nothing was changed.

Druidic is a highly guarded language and I think it was a DM decision that CL and Tongues don't work too translate it. I may be habe faulty memory, but i seem to recall this coming up before.

That is very odd that druidic is an exception, as it is spoken by intelligent people, and comes from a couple of regions in faerun, which fits the specifications of the spell. Was not aware CL had anything to do with the spell, outside of duration.

Maybe there is a list of regional and racial dialects, and druidic is just not on that list, even if it is true that druidic can be found spoken in a couple of regions in Faerun.

The vast majority of druids spoke Drueidan; those from the Moonshaes spoke a language called Daelic. Silvanus made a deal with the other druid gods, to let all the other druids speak the one druidic language.

Druid regions in faerun setting...
Emerald Enclave (island of Ilighôn)
Druids of Tall Trees (High Forest region)
Order of the Verdant Grove (guess this one doesn't have just one region per say. but many, as each member is usually a messenger for a druid circle from their own grove.)

If a druid teaches this language to a non-druid, they can lose their spells and class abilities.

I think a Blighter, (PRC complete divine) could teach the langauge and not care, but they were a perversion to nature anyways.

Also, loremasters, at 4 and 8 in the DMG could take it as well, as their language on level abilities did not have the same stipulations as gaining langauges at character creation did.

I guess someone could teach the language. But if I were a druid and knew you are teaching other people my circles secret language, that's a breach of security, one that will be dealt with quickly by the circle I'd imagine.

CL meaning comprehend languages... sorry, that's probably a bad one to use initials for. Also druidic is a secret language so i believe it falls in to deciphering code which comprehend languages can not do.

I'd love to know the list of exceptions and why they are. As far as I can tell there is no lore accurate reasoning. Secrecy doesn't affect the spell at all and even if it did there are dozens of languages that should then fit that requirement such as Arcane and Dwarven.

there is a radial that allows me to select either of 3 choices. ghast, wraith, mummy. if you select any of these you only get the wraith. its weird. perhaps i am not supposed to get a radial for some odd reason.

Baleful Polymorph is giving two saves to avoid transformation rather than Fort to avoid and Will to avoid permanent change.

Just tried it a few times on Beetles.

Huh? I fixed baleful a long while ago regarding this. weird. I'll put it on my list.


Any other summon/polymorph/shapechange bug I should be aware of?

Orb of Fire (and possibly the other orbs?) is counted as a mind-affecting spell.

Also, after Mordenkainen's Disjunction I always seem to fail the next spell because I'm "changing items."
