That's with +4 AC items and a +2 STR item, IPA activated.
I set it versus a 35 AC target for 20 rounds, total damage 3052, average 39. Not top damage but quite playable.
This looks awesome Valefort. I think the equipment transferring to damage is a really sensible thing here and it always bugged me on my bear that it didn't happen. It's also good to see that fist of the forest works now.
This isn't exactly a build that I would expect to be top damage. I would expect that Barb 3/ Fighter 12/ Bear Warrior 10/ Frenzied Berserker 5 to be closer to the short duration excellent damage build that Akroma is talking about, with the obvious drawback of one rage per day.
Even with that pure build, you could pick up the Feral amulet, get +2 rages. You would hit hard, but have nothing for rages or duration even with the max Extend Rage IV. Unfortunately the IPA with Frenzy just adds an additional +3. If Frenzy counted towards rages/day then we would be somewhere and cooking with fire on the FB/BW combo.

If the 2d6 bear damage mentioned in the wiki can't get implemented, Valefort, but is replaced by a maximum of little more half that damage on gloves maximum, can I make another suggestion for a bonus feat to take the place of that lost damage (without which I doubt the class will become more popular than it is and players put up with the death threat that comes with shifting back to original form)? Northlander Hewing! If this works in bear-shape, switched on before the shapeshift, of course, it would provide the bear with a low-AB-reduced-AC-few-attacks-but-massive-damage option and thus give the bear some tactical flexibility vis-a-vis different types of opponents. It would also be very much in character.
Related question: Do combat feats such as Northlander Hewing work in Bear Shape if switched on beforehand?

Northlander Hewing will work in bear shape if you activate it before shapechanging I think, however its calculations will be based on your basic STR, not bear's STR.
Either way, regarding the bonus damage that was never implemented I did nothing about it because I felt it was too much damage being added after the weapon damage properties being transferred. I pinged QC about it, they'll decide.

No joke. Even if the class didn't receive a single buff I'd still play one if it closer matched my Gray Wolf tribesman. I'm stuck playing a druid instead (even though I prefer martials).
Any word if this is in the pipe line?

Good idea but not in my priorities, bump in a few weeks unless another dev volunteers for it !

Out of curiosity.. since this class is still grossly underplayed and voted one of the classes that needs the most help mechanically:.

Can we PLEASE get my claw damage and +1 regen suggestions implemented. I feel I've waited long enough and nothing's changed.. the claw damage should have been there years ago and was reflected on the forums/wiki for that reason.

Nope, Bear warrior has enough damage with the elemental damage on weapon being transfered.

+1d4 on a single attack is hardly anything to gloat about..
How long is this class going to remain gimped and unplayed before we actually get the damage we deserve?

Isn't it on all attacks ? If not that's an oversight, I thought I made the change.

Excuse my skepticism, but even if the damage is transferring on all attacks.. an additional +1d4 is nothing special compared to the proposed +2d6 at max level.
Is this a subject that QC is not budging on? Because here we are months later and we have maybe 2 bear warriors on the whole server. Just curious how much more proof of failure the concept implimitation is before we can actually open this up for discussion? Would an extra day +1d4, 1d6, 1d8 progression be acceptable? I don't think 2d6 damage is really that game changing.. but it's something.
If not, let's see some +1d8 elemental damage +4 EB gloves that bear warriors can use please.

Sure it's less but after a review it looked like bear warriors were totally fine damage wise, buffing that is simply not justified in any way. If people don't play Bear warrior it's certainly not for a lack of power Akroma, or else their chocie is very limited indeed.

I actually just re-rolled a bear warrior and have thus far done more damage and been more effective than I have as any other class thus far. But thats just me personally.

I have no experience playing one but I've seen a bear knock down the serpent temple dragon repeatedly and was very impressed.

It tends to taper off when you approach and then get in to epics. Many of the complaints about Bear Warrior are more around end game rather than early-mid game, but Valefort did make some changes a while back that gave it a much needed nudge.
Opinions obviously vary on if it was enough or not.
