If I am keeping a correct tally then we are short members on team evil. If that is the case, then I can break on over to the dark side if needed.
Just say the word,

The gods giveth and the gods taketh away...then they giveth again!!

We lost 3, then gained 2. I haven't updated the front page cause i am on the phone, but it might be now we have 4 evil / 3 neutral / 5 good. Ish, that is.

What would help the storyline is if everyone PM'd me a short paragraph describing your Character. With this, I might be able to tailor the basic storyline—which I'm calling Three Sides of the Same Coin these days—to better setup our conflict positions.

Cheers.

Finally! Can't wait this thing to start. Just a suggestion, I was planning out my char for like the past few days. I was thinking instead of having lvl 1-10 from Jan-(March?). I was gonna suggest we extend it to like lvl 1-15 or more from Jan-(March?) since some of us are like starting lvl 5+ that way they can have a bit more room to flex and also early levels can go pretty quickly. Just a suggestion. I'll send you my bio char via pm to get the story rolling!

Calodan, who was to start at lvl 5, dropped out. Not to forget to mention that it takes 4-5 hours RL to get an ECL-0 build to Level 5, if you know what you're doing and group up, especially if you group up.

It is true that Levels 1–10 are super quick to gain, but for me, limiting these first 3 months to Level 10 keeps the power range in a good range, for the chance to learn about each other without it being a full mechanics contest.

Now, we could also limit ourselves further to this Max Level at a Time plan:

January - Level 4
February - Level 8
March - Level 12
April - Level 15
May - Level 18
June - Level 21
July - Level 23
August - Level 25
September - Level 27
October - Level 28
November - Level 29
December - Level 30

I think this pattern would make for the most balanced and fair mechanics in our conflict RP.

steve... do you want to start a RP thread for this? that way i can finish my initial write up and have a place to start my character's story. or would you rather i did not create the backstory so you can?

I am working on the start of an RP thread. Thankfully, a handful of you all sent me some PM background biographies, and that helped me put together a very simple general starting point. Or, maybe I should write generic starting point—the bios are great and diverse, and not-so-easy to make it all work!!! 8-)

Maybe I can get this done before I have to pay attention to the In-Laws.

But anyway, here is the latest and greatest List of Players, which I also updated on the OP:

Evil-ish Faction
ValerieJean
Israe
Aaron22
GaretAthran

Neutral-ish Faction
Steve
Adobongmanok
Izzul

Good-ish Faction
Mac
Tekill
onetwothree
Ghalen37

Here is what I've come up with:
Resembles a Tricrown, being forge of platinum, however, the size of the COIN is easily twenty-percent greater than any known minted Tricrowns, which itself is particular, and thus, can be differentiated from other coins when searching a pile, because of its greater-than-average size.

The COINS are in general white-silver as to their platinum base, some exhibiting a greater polish and perfection, while others may carry a worn patina granting a level of "character" to the COIN. Platinum being dense, gives the COINS a decent weight, a good feeling in the hand, of something meaningful.

The COINS are three-sided: front, back and the edge, owing to a fair thickness of the coin itself.

The side edge contains a full circumference of etched or carved script, letters equally spaced, in a majority of letters of the Thorass alphabet, but a small number of letters of an unknown script—which prevents any intelligent translation...so far.

The back of COIN contains a thumb-sized indentation, which...seems oddly suiting to the thumb of the COIN bearer. Holding the COIN like this, in the hand, with the face on the fingers and the backside up so that the thumb can be placed into the indentation, soothes he/she that performs it—it is nothing magical, yet, a both a comfort and a longing feeling, accompanies the act.

The front of the COIN is a flat, mirror like surface. If polished, it can act as a literal mirror-like surface to show recognizable features. It can also easily reflect light, almost beacon-like. If the COIN has formed a patina, then the COIN front provides a rough but working surface in which a letter, symbol or whatever could be surface-scratched or temporarily placed there. Some COINS may even have a particular imprint of another simple line-based symbol, set in this very thin patina.

A possibly known aspect of the COINS is they show signs of a slight magnetism, which any highly educated or professional metallurgist would deduce belongs to a Cobalt ore likely used in the alloy to harden the platinum and make is tough enough for a minting a durable coin. Since the magnetism in each COIN is rather weak, just barely providing and repelling force or pull of other sensitive metals, one may wonder if the magnetism could be enhanced if other COINS were placed in series....
I apologize to those few players that put a gold coin into their bios—I hope this can still work for you, in your background...I should have mentioned I had my above text to in a working state beforehand.

That said, I suggest anyone to add to my COIN background above, as they wish (I think I left a few open doors there.... 8-) )

Would Team Evil mind giving a vague sense their usual in-game hours so we can start IG introductions? :D

I am afraid i have to opt out for now as 2018 is starting with a lot of work and i simply dont have the time at the moment. I would very much like to join in again at a later date when i have more time available however.
