In the meantime of the above, we have been working on some changes. They are still subject to alterations, but we hope this alleviates some concerns. I am sure they also bring up new concerns, but know that we are taking concerns seriously, and that we are trying our best to find a system that works. But we must also test it at some point.
Never thought I would say it but again I have to give credit where credit is due. The new layout and information for the outpost page looks alot better then the previous. It's good to see some welcome changes on it based off some of the concerns brought up from this thread.
It may not matter, but you have a +1 from me for the concept draft as it stands at the moment.
There still aren't Blackrose NPCs at the Boareskyr Bridge and they've ostensibly been there since sometime last spring or even longer ago, and the Northern Watch flag has been in Bridgeport despite the faction being disbanded for over 2 years and other entities having taken over since. This is just 2 examples of minor map changes that have been neglected.
What changes will the building team make to ensure the playerbase trusts them to plop down or delete guild assets to actually reflect the world in a timely manner of every 3 months?
Boareskyr is a complicated case that has required several other considerations before an update can be implemented. But work is being done on that, as well as on other maps needing RP updates (eg Triel).
Indeed, the complications of Boareskyr (along with other outpost-like additions that have been made over the years) were a major factor in creation of an outpost system, to make such developments easier to manage in the future. Past work on outposts have run against current asset rule limitations which is why a new system was desired.
