Dying is too easy. It's much better that he continues being the sad loser that he already is. I couldn't think of a punishment that is more fitting.

For me at least it's taking several minutes for any commands to go through, including text. It was working fine for a while then... boof!

That is too far V'rass and no, that is not justified by your disclaimer or personal experience.

I'm sure Mr. D is lurking these forums and getting his jollies off of everybody's upsets. You telling him to kill himself like that? You don't know the man. This is a real person. So is everyone else reading this forum - you cant know whom the shoe of your command might fit.

But suppose our DDOSer came to kill himself and you had contributed to the deed. Would it still have your approval? Would you take real blood on your conscience - and over a game? Come on mate.

I'm not sure if I see the point of this attack anymore. People are clearly not going to abandon the server or grab pitchforks and attack the DEVs. I'd love to know what the goal is?

I wish we'd get some crude message made from like cut and pasted text or something.

the person or people that are ddosing the server get their jollies off on watching people post on this thread more than any other. how els would they know they are being annoying? I think if we have good suggestions to help stop the attacks, maybe send them to the team that can put those ideas to use. talking about the attackers on here is just giving them recognition.

Thanks to one of our players, we may have had a small breakthrough. We'll be pursuing it.

I'm not seeing the point of these attacks either. If the goal was to chase players off, well. The latest update is doing a much better job.
