PvP and rez spells.

I just wanted to get clarified the rules on rez'ing someone who has "died" in pvp combat.
•Avoid the player directly for a period of one day, unless a RP reason has been presented to you or permission has been granted to you to be present around the one you have killed or have been killed by. Permission is granted only by the player or players that were involved in your death.
Is it an acceptable RP reason to be able to continue fighting someone because a cleric/FS/person with rez rod casts the spell on them, or does the last line about permission include both reasons how a player can interact with a player before 24hours are up. Or does getting someone to weezing not count as PvP defeat as long as they have a cleric or someone to rez them etc. Just curious about this seeing as the rules for rezing and pvp arent written out.

We're currently discussing a formal clarification of this issue. Previous postings on the subject basically say this:

Once you're dropped in a PVP you're down until the end of the fight. Raises and healing are not possible. Healing someone and letting them re-enter the fight is functionally an exploit, due to the protection they receive from the script - they're Immortal until the end of the subdual period, and cannot be killed.

One other potential fix would be to increase the time it takes to cast the spell. Raise dead in PnP is 1 minute, Resurrection, & True Resurrection are both 10 minutes I think.

Would that be a possibility to make the time to cast it in RL time?
