General Facts : Merin is a young gnome that has traveled across the seas from Lantan in search of inspiration and adventure. He originated from a small mining town named Otara, where his family commonly took the role of Mayor from father to son for many generations and when little Merin picked up his lyre and refused to mine or become mayor for that matter, stepping on the first boat out of Lantan, he was immediately cut from the Otara family, instead taking upon the name of Stonesinger.

During his short time in the Sword Coast so far, Merin has made a point to go about his merry and cheerful ways, meeting many people of many backgrounds, often friendly with a few noticeable people with open hostilities that he just cant understand. Of particular importance is a friendship he shares with a fellow bard named Galia, together they have a habit of sitting around a campfire, laughing and joking or roaming the countryside between Baldur's Gate and Nashkel.

Side Note - Merin is an extremely sociable creature, always stopping to RP, perform, play etc. etc. which leads to extremely slow leveling but it's totally worth it.
