Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

((this is an RP thread for halflings to RP in, based around the small lovely town of Gullykin.. I'll start!))

After helping his kin haul the masive body of a minotaur to the Fist, Bobby T. Longshanks, or as known among his kin as Shanks travels to Gullykin where he would it against a wall and drink his night away with a cigar in his mouth.

In Gullykin still scouting out wedding location, Ember waves merrily to Bobby. She's heard a rumor about hin and a minotaur but being Ember, she has no clue who it is who did the deed - though she's happy it was some hin.

"Hi!" She chirps as she runs by, heading for an open area that might make a good spot to get hitched. She figures she'll bring Cirkus by for a look later.

Dashing back to where Bobby stands against the wall, she says, "What's up, buttercup?" and giggles.

Bobby looks up with a quirked brow.
"Did ye jus' call me...Buttercup?"

Emerging from the shadow suddenly, Riza mutters, "Fools" and shakes her head at the two most ridiculous halflings...

Ember giggles again, at Bobby. "Well it just rhymed is all! You don't look like a buttercup. But she does!" She turns to look at Riza.

"Fools we may be but everyone knows it's the Fool who's wisest in the end." She nods wisely.

Bobby grinned as the attention was taken off of him, chewing on his cigar and puffing smoke as he waited to see the interaction between the two females.

Riza's thoughtful expression changes to an honest smile.
"Dear cousin, don't you know a friendly remark when you hear one?" She asks, beaming a smile towards the jovial hin.

*Captain Stalwart Gemin of Gullykin makes his rounds and in his commonly happy mood, he nods and waves to his kin and proceeds on to the local tavern to have some ale.*

Riza follows the cheerful captain with her eyes and with a similar thought in mind rushes to the tavern to grab the freshest mug of beer.

"Well hello there! I haven't seen you in these parts before! Can I buy ya a drink?"

That's the spirit. I'll accept anything you pour me. It is pleasant to finally be able to let your guard down for once... *Offers a warm smile that somehow seems fit for her unusually serious face*

*GRINS* "Bartender we will have two Gemini specials please, and put it on my tab. So, What brings ya to thi sneck of the woods? The Long legs gettin ya down?"

Indeed, I tired of the company of tall people. More than that, I'm looking toward gathering one or two raiding parties to clean out the minotaur maze... I've battled the wizard of that maze and I hardly care to try that again single-handily. He can prove tough (for a bipedal bull at least) and I'm not keen on missing out on some of the treasure. *eyes glitter*
Moreover, I was thinking of starring a more organized defense for the city, possibly taking care to clean the nearby woods of werewolves every now and then.

Iffin' ye ain' seen i' lass, Gullykin already got's itself an organized defense *waves towards the front of Gullykin with his cigar before taking a nice heavy drag from it at turning to the bartender* Oi, Barkeep.. I'll 'ave some o' tha' Luiren Whiskey ye go' sittin' back thar. *chews on his cigar* Now, supposin' ye moigh' be able ter join tha existin' defense eh?

Ember's ever present grin is... present as she pats the countertop. "I'll have a raspberry brandywine!" She grins. "And a peppermint stick! And two pieces of cake. And a hammer."

She looks as if she might go on with the list but stops at the mention of defenses and minotaur mazes.

"Ooh. I've been in that maze. It's confusing but fun! I could help kill off that crummy Boss Minotaur if you want!" She grabs the drink as it's presented, ignores the fact that the rest of her order never arrived, slides some gold across the bar, and turns to grin at everyone.
