Sitting in some dark hole in the wall with nothing but a small lantern to give off light, a rather short one-eyed Hin takes up his quill and begins to write in a small leather bound book in the language of the Hin, a Luiren dialect in particular.

I've never been one for writing my thoughts on paper in the past but with so much going on around me, I figured it to be of importance to pen down the things that have happened in my life.

4 years ago, I departed from the Homeland, sweet, merciful and beautiful Luiren with hin at every corner and little to no idiot long-legged fools running around with their claimed superiority. I left because of the simple fact that I realized there were other hin out there in the world that require a certain touch of warmth from his or her own kin. I have heard tales of hin being ridiculed and frowned upon by the taller races and quite frankly... this will not do.

I set out to the west upon a caravan and soon found myself sitting upon the sword coast, surrounded by a few hin that roam the streets of human cities and bear the abuse and ridicule of their rule..again, this will not do... We as hin are far more intelligent, nimble and sturdy than the tall races... We are a race that has survived throughout the ages using our wits and cunning to overcome the fools that deem themselves our betters and we continue to do so even now.

I shall head out to gather the Hin in the area and see to it that they receive the best treatment and protection that I can provide and should any of the tall ones wish to pay for my services while I'm at it, then even better... however, my kin will always come first... Always.
