i guess this would fall under a rule due to the nature of the spell bug.

The wizard spell: berserk is supposed to function exactly like the barbarian berserk ability.

However, when it attempts to give +4 STR it gives it as an enhancement bonus

Berserker rage, the barbarian ability is a morale bonus, like heroism.

DM Mr. Rodgers tested this today as of 3/16 and confirmed Spell: berserker did not stack with other enchancement bonuses. The test spell used in this case was bulls strength.

If the spell state it is to function as the Barb Berserk in which that gives Morale then I would say yes. I mean can't be that much of a powergamey exploit to be taken, The Reduced AC and such would work, not sure if it would make you winded after as well though.

spell specifically states it does not leave you exhausted.

"Your whole party gains the benefits of the barbarian's rage class ability. Unlike the class ability, when the spell's duration ends, your party members are not fatigued. This spell does not stack with uses of the rage class ability."

that's what tickled me about the spell, it wasn't just rage, it was specifically the barbarian class rage.

i just kinda wanted it for RP flavor reasons.

Sure, go ahead. I cannot fight against the spell having proper effect. We do not want to have something similar to WoD, don't we? It will actually make the potion of rage so much more valuable for people, actually.

agreed. i say go ahead and change it. as prism said, i wont argue if the spell is fixed to work as it should

Why even ask for permission to change something that isn't working as intended? It's broken, fixing it can only help.

Because if nobody cares why put in the effort to fix it. Anyway i agree, be interesting to see this spell work, and the Rp of making your party go crazy with rage be priceless.

Can only fix bugs that are reported. As you said nobody know.

It'd make the spell more interesting and give slightly more variety to wizard roleplay, so heck yeah!
