Frah Fleetfoot, vile vixen of Waterdeep

Frah Fleetfoot is new to Baldur's Gate. She is an experienced Rogue that hails from the City of Splendors. Frah was an up and coming member of one of the many thieve guilds in Waterdeep before she was banished from her guild and eventually the city because she refused to Assassinate a close companion of hers. The Irony is that the so called companion was also hired to kill Frah, and in the end she had to kill the man in self defense. Angered that Frah did not carry out the designed execution as they had planned, the leaders of the guild forced Frah to leave by swordpoint.

She eventually found herself on the road south and now finds refuge in Baldur's Gate and surrounding areas. Frah often plays the part of being cordial and kind, but it is only a act. She cares for one thing and one thing only, staying alive and getting a few coins along the way. And Magic users beware, she so so, how do you say......hates those magic types.

First week in this foul place and already i long for the life i once had. How dare they subject me to this existance. Baldur's Gate teams with guards and good doers and Clerics of every elk who roam the streets peddling their promises of redemption and hope. Alas i found an Haven amongst the fools, just last night i found my lord, the hide out dedicated to Mask in an abandoned shed on the waterfront may just be my saving grace. There are others here that know the way of the thief, its just a matter of finding them. But i have an advantage, i know where to look. Come night, come darkness....let the hunt for my brothers and sisters begin.

Second week
My search for the allusive, as they should be, thieves guild is still ongoing. But life is not so boring now at least, i've met a nemesis.

He was a lone figure standing in the local watering hole, drinking, oddly enough water, when i came strolling in after a long day of hunting wolves, kobolds, and every other type of vermin it seems. We engaged in conversation throughout the evening and into the night, feeling no threat from the man and after having a few too many glasses of wine I foolishly told him my history in Waterdeep and how i hoped to someday join a local guild and climb its ranks.

The man said little and was no help but yet i found him intriguing on some level. Then just yesterday i found the snake, no snake is a compliment, i found that discarded skin a of snake, walking the streets outside the city in the uniform of The Flaming Fist. No doubt he has snitched to them of my skill set and what i intend to do with them. This Kain Marsh has made no move against me yet, but its a matter of time. I must be careful, in a new land i have already made more enemies than friends. But isn't that the way of Frah Fleetfoot, vile vixen of waterdeep.....and would i want it any other.

I made a move against the most dishonourable Kain Marsh today, i had the urge to go in to the barracks and slay the man in his sleep. He deserves no better fate.

I am only one against so many though and i fear with such a brash move against one of their own i would no doubt have all the Flaming Fist seaking me out. That i cannot have. As it turns out I left the man a most enduring love letter, one that tells him where i stand and more importantly where he should not, that being with his back to the shadows.

But more importantly, contact has been made by the thieves guild, they are watching me from the shadows they say. No doubt gauging my ability and discipline. Kain Marsh's day will come but not at the expense of my initiation. Life will be much easier and prosperous once i find out the inner workings of the local chapter. Maybe i can get a commisson to assassinate the fool, Kain Marsh. Kill two birds with one stone, or in this case a poisoned tip dagger.

Third Week:

With every passing day i gather more information and better acquaint myself with the landscapes and politics of the sword coast. The power struggles here are primitive in comparison to Waterdeep and i have little doubt i will find my place and line my pockets with gold along the way. Things are happening all around me, exciting things.

Ever on guard, ever mindful of potential gain.

End of the first month:*sitting under the stars in the Cloakwood forest*

I have spent too many days away from the comforts of the city life and have been sleeping under the stars for what seems an eternity. The smells of the wilds and the overabundance of wild beasts roaming its hillsides are beginning to wear on me i fear.

I must be vigilant and overcome these new challenges i face, everything depends on me playing my part. These so called heroes and defenders of good, I do so hate them, running around pretending to be making a difference. For every monster slain two more move into the territory to take its place. The battle to tame these wild lands is a futile one and one i want no part of. But for me to survive i must play my part it would seem.

*After dropping off the head of a recently dispatched orc chieftain Fray settles in at the Elfsong tavern, quill and paper in hand*
The days are growing longer now and the nights colder while out of the city upon the open road. I have met several interesting travelers during my treks into the nearby woods. Some i might someday even consider friends.

Fighting has become common place in my day to day existance and i have all but given up any hope of finding work within the walls of the city. There are many new adventurers in the area however that are more than welling to hand over their coin of free well in payment of my aid in their wilderness excursions.

Though this is not the life i had originally seeked those many months ago when i came south it has alloted me a few comforts and I will make due until more prosperous avenues are open to me.
