To the Faithful of the Lord of Murder:

I received your letter. Permit me now to offer a response. I fail to see this slaughter you speak of. I see the faithful of a god who has ordered the murder of children. I see my enemies. I do not see any good coming from a meeting between us, especially one where I must agree to such atrocious terms, and travel alone.

I am well aware that you are not the same religious murderers that I have faced in the past. Indeed, but a new blight of murderers. You kill in the name of a cruel faith. Know, as justice finds you for these acts, that I have made it known to the Ilmatari I lead that you receive the same Mercy offered to your predecessors in accordance with our own faith. “Mercy even to the least deserving.” May it be a swift Mercy when Tyr’s Justice seeks you.

Think carefully before you act. Never have I raised my hand first against Bhaal’s Faithful. Never have I allowed myself to be intimidated by thinly veiled or honeyed threats of bloodshed. Those who serve the Triad, and all that is good, will continue to do so. We will not waver in our tasks. May Mercy be with you. If you wish to seek a kinder path that does not end in blood, I pray you do so, most sincerely.

The elf reads the notice, responding with a head shake... whether from not knowing of the threat or at the boldness of the response can be anyones guess. Pulling out a quill and pot, the elf pauses to think. No. This isn't The Way. The writing implements are quickly stowed.

This is sure to draw the Radiant Heart and House Rokranon into a pursuit that will obliterate anything in their path, probably including the most important information. Pity, that.

I can't help but notice you respond fear with attempting to make more fear, does this have anything to do with one of your faithful being caught naked because that is a disguise and hung? I know shame is shame, but it's unbecomming of thee to react so harshly in this. please seek redemption and choose another god.
