Wicked place, mate :)!!

You guys look good together <3
This twisted culture got you feeding from its hand
But you will lose that food if you don't meet all their demands
And loyal is the soldier that gets slaughtered with the lambs
Examining the blueprints got you questioning the plans

Zann, if you think that's a waterfall and not the relentless fury of an icy Antarctic ocean spray haplessly battering aged siltstone, then I'm not sure what I can do for you! :P

I come from the flat lands ... we don't have waterfalls ... or mountains ... or anything remotely interesting in our scenery.

Boring country really :?

But sorry, I didn't mean to insult you, let me retry!

You're the relentless fury of an icy Antarctic ocean spray haplessly battering aged slitstone!? :o

Video of a little skirmish we had last month. Nobody got hurt. Badly.

The same battle but from a different angle at 19:00:

There's another little fight at the start of the video.

Taking it easy. Busy times - suffice to say I haven't been in game, but I hope you're all well and likewise I hope to return soon.

We hope so too, man! Glad you are doing well.

Get it all sorted out at your own pace, and see you when you have time :)

Back in 2001 elk were reintroduced into the Cataloochee Valley of North Carolina, and that reintroduction has been a resounding success- so much so that we now have a resident elk that regularly comes to our neighborhood (She really digs the apple tree). After taking the dog for a walk this evening, I just pulled up a bit of grass and decided to let her investigate (For the record, this really should likely set me up for a Darwin Award, it is NOT a smart thing to do).

She was definitely curious, but after about ten minutes, I eased my way out before she got too close.

True love at first deathless master's touch.

I haven't really been active this past year and the reason for that is... well... I have found myself a viking, on BG of all places!

Most of you know me as Rai, but for a couple of months I played a cold and detached necromancer called Sama. It all started on the 17th of April 2017 when a new player that didn’t have the misfortune of playing with me before, made the careless ‘mistake’ of inappropriately touching my necromancer’s behind. Sama’s obvious response, a deathless master’s touch, started a conversation in tells that somehow ended up in a discussion on whether or not I had succeeded in creating an elf costume with ears of convincing quality. The discussion was to be resolved by me sending him a picture, and so we exchanged Skype accounts.

[4/17/2017 5:42:46 PM] ghostly_rose: there you go creepy internet person!

Image

Of course, being the honest person that I am, I also showed him a picture of myself without makeup.

Image

From there on the conversations never stopped. Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months of talking every single day. In July we finally decided to meet up in September and I flew from Canada to Denmark for a 10 day vacation in the land of the Vikings, and yes, I actually got to sail on the ocean in a real viking boat!

It turns out that vikings are like a plague: hard to get rid of. He came to Canada, first for Halloween, and then for Christmas. At this point I was starting to see the potential of having my very own viking minion and after going back several times I decided to move last September.

Image

Now you all think this is a happily ever after sort of story but it’s not… “Move to Denmark” he said, “I’ll love you forever” he promised but after only a month I suspect he is having an affair with…. my war horse! :O Guess that's the end of his story (the viking obviously, not the horse)

So the lesson here, boys and girls, is take a chance. What’s the worst that can happen?

That was a very lovely story, ghostly_rose. ( :D Which is not something I usually expect from you! Kidding! Kidding!)

Anyway, it's always a huge boost to my morale and my personal motivation in keeping the server alive when I hear about how this place brings people together -- in this case, from across the globe!
