So what is going on with the underdark? Its pretty awesome, no?

I also think its a pretty awesome deal we've got down here. I hope you feel the same!

So, it would be nice to know who is making this place awesome and who is taking advantage of the awesomeness to be had down here.

I've skimmed over alot of the UD posts and cant help but notice they are very old. Some were literally started years ago. This does not make me a happy duergar.

SO! Lets say we get organized eh? I am a forum junkie by nature, I plan on spending plenty of time here - so posting wont be a problem for me. You guys on the other hand should post more!

I think we should start off by taking a rolecall, either in this thread or another. So that we can get a better idea of what is going on in the underdark. I'd also like to know what DM's are currently in charge of the underdark, and what NPC factions they are committed to running in the UD.(Conclave at least right?)

A new house has come to Sshamath. Little is know of this small house other than it is a patriarchal house and actively seeking to acquire wealth or position. Its members keep to themselves, but are known to raid the Underdark for profits.

OOC Lore:

The Jaezred Chaulssin is a secret, patriarchal organisation consisting of skilled assassins. Their goal is to rid the drow of the tyrannical rule of Lolth and her priestesses. They are "based" in the ruined drow city of Chaulssin, from which they got their name. They began as House Jaelre, a former house of Menzoberranzan, which was driven away for heresy. In 792 DR The Church of Vhaeraun reveals that the ranks of the Chaulssinyr leadership have been heavily infiltrated by malaugrym. The Masked Lord’s followers assume power and found "House Jaezred", an elite brotherhood of assassins trained to ferret out and kill shapeshifting interlopers. In truth, they only visit Chaulssin to hold highly secret meetings. They are actually spread throughout the Underdark in each major drow city.
The Jaezred Chaulssin are not particularly numerous, but their power belies this fact.

Not RPed as this is unapproved: (They are, in fact, half drow and half shadow dragon. This gives them an innate resistance to magic, the ability to "breathe" poisonous fumes, and small wings enabling them to fly.)

The Jaezred Chaulssin's desire to establish a patriarchal society in drow cities in the place of the current matriarchal society is shared by Vhaeraun and his followers. The extent of their links, however, is unclear.
