Now this is a story all about how my life got flipped,
Turned upside-down;
And I'd like to take a minute, so just you wait --
I'll tell you how I became the prince of our dear Baldur's Gate.
In the city of Ordulin, born and raised,
In dingy back alleys I spent most of my days --
Chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool,
And picking fat purses off folks like a fool.
When a couple of nobles who were up to no good,
Started making trouble in my neighborhood.
I got in one little fight and they said "assassinate" --
So I made way to Yhaunn to enact my escape.
There I boarded a ship (for she looked to be fair),
The boat's name was "Fresh" and her sails had no tear --
If anything, I could say that this ship was rare,
But I thought, "nah, forget it, yo off to Cormyr!"
I pulled into Suzail about seven or eight
Where I yelled to the captain, "Here's land, smell ya later!"
Then I made for this city, right away straight,
Where I could sit on my throne as the prince of the Gate.
