Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

A female vampire ignites explosives in an attempt to seal off the crypts and successfully evades the adventurers attempts at capture.

Vallarie Revas of Doran Amar academy and Eowen of Doran Amar walk into candlekeep. They ask the monks for any relevant information they may have and where it might possibly be contained in this massive library. The two are seen spending much of their time skimming through books, looking for clues as to what may lie within and why this is such a closely guarded secret.

As the dou beings to inquire they are not fairly well received. Many of the order are not of the level to placate questions concerning hallowed or sacred gorunds within the region.

After a few days of resting within the CandleKeep Inn and asking about, a helpful young man by the name of Timothy, befriends the pair and gives them more insight on how to procure the information they seek through the protocol the scholars have implaced. Timothy is a young scribe that often gophers scrolls and other fonts of knowledge to local shops within the keep for commerce and trade.

Firstly, As a scribe Timothy often comes into contact with many of the readers as he is in their charge. Readers are approachable, setting an appointment with a particular reader would be the first step in procuring access too enter the archives but under strict supervision, of course. The request on reference material on a particular topic of knowledge is then submitted to the reader in which he/she will guide you to appropriate areas to find the source materials.

Timothy would accompany the pair during their appointment with the Reader known as Jerissa, the reader in which Timothy is the ward too.

Access to the archives or within the grand libraries is forbidden without the permission of the Avowed, who are comprised of Readers, Scribes, Seekers, Guides, etc...

Vallarie and Eowen are seen walking into candlekeep together. Many hours later then walk out.

Eowen mentions something about needing to report to Doran Amar.

Vallarie goes off on her own looking for information on a cult of vampires. Who wear the insignia of two serpents entertwined facing each other bearing their fangs. As well as for rumor of what happened near two centuries ago on the stepps of Damara's Galena's mountains. Mostly in regards to the identity of this mysterious vampire.

I am often at the Elfsong tavern, tell them to find me there. Have them ask for Delphinn. Delphinn Veil. If I'm not there, the barmaids will know where to find me.
