Ithic's request.

Blackstaff101 wrote:The mindflayer merchant known as Ithic has recently begun spreading rumor of a Shadowdragon in the area of Sshamath. Word on its purpose and whereabouts are as of yet unclear.
A group of Bregan D'aerthe sellswords took it upon themselves to hunt the dragon down, but their initial search proved fruitless.
The mindflayer Ithic has communicated to those willing to listen that he feels the Shadow dragon draws near once more. He requests that its hide be brought to him, and its brain as well. The mindflayer says he will give three diamonds to each member of the group that brings the dragon's hide to him. He will give an additional three diamonds to each if the dragon's brain is brought back fresh, not frozen, not cooked, not pickled, dried or rotten in any way, FRESH! The sellswords put up a signup sheet for experienced adventurers to apply for admittance on this mission.
((Recommended levels 15-30, lower levels can apply, but no compaints if you get killed! A fresh brain means you must make it from where the dragon was slain and back to the mindflayer without resting, also I will put a RL time limit of 40 minutes beginning as soon as the brain is removed from the dragon's skull. I should be available this Friday night around 9:00 PM central time (GMT-6) to run this event. If only a few can make it at this time I will schedule it to next week at an earlier time.))

Sorry for the absence. I am still very interested in this should anything ever come of it.
character: Duneth Despana lvl 25.
I think all the Jaezred Chaulssinyr (leader: Anethem Jaezred/virtualangel) would love to be part of it as well.
I'll try to see if I can get them together and write you, then you can choose if they were simply too slow or if your campaign prep can still be used.
Again: awesome DM_Sword time, just too bad I had to leave (next time I'll speed the noobz through your event).

Sargtalin Kilrahel Charnag Maelthra lvl 20
Most any time is good for me so I am very flexable but live in US East Coast for a time reference.
I look forward to the Event. But skining a Shadow Dragon needs a right manner of Blade one would think.
My best,
Braithwaite

((There would be skill/attribute checks for certain things yes, perhaps if players are creative and bring good tools for the job those checks would be easier. Oh damn, there I go again giving out too many hints.

I think I might just plan this event to take place this sunday early afternoon central standard time [yes we have daylight savings here]))
