Rhys spends a few moments at his desk working on a new poster, although its lacking any artistic talent, it does get right to the point.

"Doron Amar's Arcane Academy is seeking new members of all races. Help the ever growing community of Doron Amar, while learning history and the Art. Seek out Rhys Feivra for more information.

-Headmaster Rhys Feivra"

Rhys smiles at his work and then makes copys of the poster for candlekeep and The Gate

Rhys wonders around the tower, clearly board and lost in thought.
"If i don't put my mind to something soon am going to lose it"
After a sigh he reaches into his bag and pulls out an old torn and worn book. He cant help but smile at his childhood book, one his parents would read to him when he was little.
"Elven Dragon Riders...such magical things. So beautiful."

Rhys gathers as many members of the Academy and its friends as he can

"Istari Tower is done....If the Academy is going to pick up the slack we need more students and teaches. *Rhys Smiles and looks over everyone* Just what are we going to do about that?"

After hearing about Rhys' inquisition, Cassia showed up at the Arcane Tower. It had been a while since the Istari Tower closed, and she's gotten settled into the Arcane Tower and moved her few possessions to a small spot within. She looked to Rhys as he asked the audience.

"Fortunately, it is not too heavy a load. There was little hope for Istari when the Dukes made a decision, but moreso because few members remained. Nonetheless...you are right. I hope I can help to pick up the slack, Rhys" she said then glanced amongst the others.

Rhys wonders about the tower speaking aloud

"Bjorn Frostbeard, a man of few memory's yet his ties to the weave grow strong. I tested his ability to face himself, he passed but without defeating himself. The servants of Auril already have an interest in him. I expect wonderful things from this one."

Rhys stands in the classroom, starring at the arcane formula on the chalk board. After a few silent moments to himself he picks up the eraser. Slowly at first he starts erasing the board before quickly picking up speed. He then sets the eraser down and starts to write dead center of the Board.

"Today we almost lost one of our own. Misunderstanding and hate are the foes of all goodly races. Each of us have no more power then we allow ourselfs, only as much power as the allys we keep. History has proven that all people have great power. Fight for what is right, law or no. But a great question be what is right? There is no true answer for this my friends, but we have the ability to find out together. "

Rhys then walks away leaving the note for all to see.

Vallarie is seen walking the halls in a overly giddy mood. She goes into classroom and teaches a lesson to a class of intermediate students on advanced Abjuration. She seems distracted throughout, when she finally tells her students to close their books. With a motion to the students they all leave the classroom and she leads them to the edges of Doran amar. Along the way students are alive with gossip and questions for Mistress Revas, all is ignored with an ever growing smile. As she leaves she grabs a couple senior students and they speak in hushed tones as the walk to their destination. As she reaches the clearing she tells everyone to stop. She speaks in an tone of authority "I've gathered you all here together for field testing", amongst a chorus of groans, she continues "I want to see where everyone is at". Noting the serious faces and looks of dread amongst many of the students, she laughs "This is supposed to be fun, enjoy yourselves". As more senior students provide the summons, a light show ensues. Much laughter, some amusing antics, followed by spell casting and merriment. All the while observed by the mistress, taking note of each magelings tendencies, preferences, and form.

Vallaire notices what is written on the blackboard. She grabs a piece of parchment and a quill and puts quill to parchment.

"Rhys, you've been a better master and friend then I could have ever hoped for." At this point she becomes overwhelmed and a tear runs down her check. She forces herself to continue. "You have been like a father to me, you have no idea how much that means to me. I appreciate everything you've done for me. Love, Vallie"

*Rhys maps out the Anatomy of the Beholder for all to see*
Image
Image

1. powerful sphincterlike muscle

2.short esophagus

3.stomach

4.intestines

5.hundreds of tiny, air-fi lled channels (Lunges)

6. "I imaging mating with Beholders need to be done with eyes closed" -Wendel of Candlekeep
In fact all Beholders are gender neutral, and reproduce once in there lifetime.A
strange ovoid organ below the back of the creature’s tongue grows large and swollen; this is the creature’s womb

7. Brains. Made up of two separate, independent minds. The rational mind and the intuitive mind. The two minds can never seem to get along causing much paranoia and madness in a Beholder. (may very well be a Beholders greatest weakness)

Rhys can been seen running around the tower with a renewed energy. His face is serious, and a old elven sword can be seen by his side. His words can often be heard saying the same thing over and over.

"I almost forgot. Its the future i do this for....the future."

Rhys hears word that Dajala Silverleaf may be back on the coast. He quickly goes into a panic and starts cleaning the tower.
