Pinochet Fauchs' office has been abandoned for weeks. A sign outside the building reads "OUT OF BUSINESS."
Rumors spread that the gruff editor and publisher was forced out of business because he was, simply put, an ass; no one wanted to work for him.

Recently, a woman has been seen visiting the abandoned office. Word on the street is that her name is Elycia Innovius, and she means to pick the Baldur's Gate Gazette back up.
