The Baldur's Gate Limited Card challenge!

A large group of minstrels, travelling on foot, enter Baldur's Gate. They venture through the stores, stockpiling materials and such, for their festival of cards.
They arrive at the fountain beside the Elfsong Tavern, conversing around it for but a moment before deciding they're to rest, and thus; they make their way over to the Blade and Stars Inn.

Their leader, supposedly, shouts out whilst they're enjoying their breakfast,
"Hmm... perhaps we should have our cards hosted in here?"
Without hesitance, a member of the card-pack replies,
"I don't know, the atmosphere bothers me. Perhaps we should have it in the Elfsong?"
Their supposed leader stops his speech, and then quickly blurts out,
"Aha, I know. We can have our tournament near that fountain outside the Elfsong! Perfect, oh... this will be perfect."

A written note is left near the fountain, written in elegant yet rushed handwriting:
"To all those wishing to enter our fabled tournament, you shan't regret it. We've been to Samarach, Mulhorand, Cormyr and even Neverwinter - why, you ask? Simply because we have a desire to give YOU. Our tournaments, which we reserve to be ours, are truly not to be missed. Why, you ask? Think we're just another random piece of naeth group? Rushing around to steal your money? No. We offer you more than anyone ever has!

This has always been our major success, and we promise you it won't be our last success. What other company allows you to enter a tournament for as little as ten gold pieces, and allows you to leave with a hundred thousand pieces?! We're sure you've changed your minds now. We're so sure that we also offer newcomers a free buy-in of fifty gold. That means up to five-hundred-thousand gold pieces in winnings!

We're sure you'll join, and as such, we're sure you'll win, too!"
The travellers set up outside the Elfsong, awaiting interest.OOC: // Time and rules will be updated later today when decided upon.
