Personality and Beliefs
- Abrasive, direct and without much patience. Can be rather intimidating, even scary at times. She's clearly intelligent and has a brutal sense of humour.
- Doesn't exactly like men in general, though a few exceptions exist.
- Believes might makes right and often bullies others to get her way.
- Can be rather brutal and relentless, yet incredible efficient in her methods.
- Is a bit racist, though she tends to mellow up a bit to individuals of other races (sort of)

- Is vengeful. Mercy to those who wrong her.

History
- Born in Luskan to a barmaid by the name Alice, ex-wife of Bjorn Olsen, who abandoned her and went to the sea, 7-8 months before Katiara was born.
- When Kat was a youngling, perhaps 6-7 years old, her mother re-married. Her stepfather, Samuel DeWitt, was an abusive and violent wannabe-bigshot. Frequently raped Katiara when she was a young teenager.
- She ran away when she was 14, joining up with all kinds of wrong people. Some of these were just as abusive as her stepfather, though she toughed up and soaked in all what she could learn from them, eventually brought justice to those few who had done her wrong.
- At age 16 she found out her mother had been beaten to death by her stepfather. She returned and tortured the man for 3 days before she finally slit his throat.
- At age 17 she was now an accomplished swordfighter, traveling around and tried to get work as a Swords for hire.
- After 3 years of work as a sellsword, she finally arrived at Roaringshore and Baldur's Gate. Here she sort-of befriended a wicked girl named Shara, who was part of the infamous Hellstorm crew. Coincidently, her biological father was part of that crew. It was first after a few meetings that they both realized who the other were. Unknowningly on how to tackle a situation she never had thought would happen, she resorted to an old habit she thought she had left behind in her old life - she ran.
