ranged weapons and ranged touch attacks

I was told today that ranged weapons give inappropriate attack bonus increases to ranged touch attacks.
Is this true?

I think so. I thought it was all weapons,. but I might be wrong about that.

Someone else may be more up on this, but I think as long as you have a ranged weapon it effects all ranged stats. Also wondered if point blank would somehow give the +1 to attack with RTA's at the close range, but it doesn't, I tested that recently.
As well, I recall there was a bug with warlocks if you held a non-ranged weapon in your hand you couldn't target things with a blast (RTA). I thought this was fixed. I did experience this long time ago on BG server.

with a ranged weapon you cant use ICE so i never use that.. i rahter have +6 AC on my warlock then some more AB

All enhancement bonuses on the weapon in your main hand, applies to Ranged Touch Attacks as well.
