The following notice is posted on the Bulletin Board near the Elfsong Tavern.

I, Raimon Miraval, celebrant of the Order of the Eightfold Path, blessed of Ilmater, reciter of the Four Noble Truths, offer greetings and salutations to the good people of Baldur's Gate. The purpose of this missive is to seek the bravest and most puissant among you for the deadliest of missions. The depredations of the ancient white dragon, Icehauptannarthanyx, and his minions along the high passes in the Cloudpeak Mountains cry out for redress. I have obtained dispensation from the ruling Council of Six in Amn to enter the mountains with a small, elite, force from the north to deal with the white beast and destroy the cult that serves him.

Those of you willing to throw caution and good sense to the wind in this most difficult of undertakings can find me at the Blade and Stars for the next fortnight making the necessary preparations. If you do not find me there, kindly leave a note for me at the reception.
