Baldur's Gate : The Sword Coast Chronicles : NWN2 Persistent World

In the early hours of morning, just as the crimson eye of Lathander peeks over the horizon, formerly vacant news stands throughout Baldur's Gate are vibrant with new life. Young boys, with boisterous, piercing voices can be heard to shout "Gazette! Get your Gazette here! Just two silvers, and some pocket lint, for all the entertainment your eager hearts require!"

There are similar happenings taking place as far south as Beregost, and even at the notoriously renown Friendly Arm Inn, as bundles of the tightly bound 'Baldur's Gate Gazette' are heaped from their cache, to waiting distributors.

Elycia can be seen buzzing about, assisting with the distribution wherever she can lend, with her winning smile and charming demeanor. She keeps her ears perked to mentions of the newly-revived Gazette, pausing now and then to take a listen whenever she hears someone utter, “Have you read...”

*the old wizard sits near a roaring fire puffing on his long curved wooden pipe as he turns the final page of the Gazette.*

"interesting"

*he mutters as he strokes his long white beard. Puffs his pipe again and as he releases the smoke he mouths the words, thinking intently "red wizards"... takes a sip of brandy and mutters... "Aranath... good lad"*

*finishes his brandy and reaches for his staff, relying on it to aid his rise from the desk... Licks his fingers and snuffs out the 3 burning candles. His staff thuds on the steps as he makes his way up to his room upstairs.*

One of the many copies arrives to Roaringshore... If we are specific it arrives to Sea Wolf -Brigantine- and in Captain's cabin. In lantren light, once kind and fair man reads the news slowly while sipping rum and watching his mate's sleep.

"Front page? Har ha, seems like it was worth of time after all.." He watches the sleeping beauty a good time and adjust's oil feed in the lantren so she wouldn't wake as he reads the news.

Muttering and bit suprised sounds can be heard as he reads the rest. Page three burns nicely. "Blasted shovel waving bastard." The Captain returns in warm bed and wraps his arm around the sweet partner's frail body.
