Nhilvrae is shapely and beautiful for drow standards, a gift she sees as being given to her by Lolth. She flaunts this beauty readily, often wearing revealing clothing with a long flowing robe. Her face is angular, and her eyes have a piercing, fearsome quality about them.

Background:
Originally from the Drow city of Menzoberranzen, Nhilvrae was the second daughter of house Kilvirr, a rather wealthy and well-recognised house which commanded a rather large standing military. As such she was used to having servants- and many of them, and enjoyed commanding those in positions lower than her. She made the members of her house well aware of her intentions to one day become Matron Mother of house Kilvirr, regardless of the fact she had a sister a century her senior, as well as two other younger sisters. She was also known for her hateful cruelty, practiced readily whenever the opportunity presented itself, on any viable target. Most who knew her either feared or loathed her. She was also among the ranks of the temple of Lolth priestesses, a promising member. Sensing her two daughter’s growing power, Nhilvrae’s mother, fearful of her daughters impending attempts to undermine her, sent them all away on long tasks to opposite ends of the Underdark, hoping none would ever return. Her fear of being undermined was warranted, as her daughters did indeed each have their own plans to destroy those in higher positions then themselves to become the Matron Mother, and all were beginning to see the weakness of their mother’s rule. To stop this, Nhilvrae was sent to Ssamath, as part of a clerical interchange to help the temple there. She entered the city with next to no knowledge of its laws, but she learned them quickly; and they reviled her. Learning of the temple’s low standing, Nhilvrae originally despaired. However, she came to understand the potential of the place, should she be able to gain proper standing there and help the temple gain some of its lost power. She in turn might be seen to be a powerful Cleric, and with that power and fortune, eventually return to house Kilvirr and overthrow her mother.

Goals:
Being powerful. Helping the Temple of Lolth gain standing in Ssamath. Oneday returning home to overthrow her mother and become Matron.

Nhilvrae is all about gaining personal power. She will do whatever she can to elevate her position, as long as it is within her means. She looks down upon males, believing them inferior. She particularly hates other races. Her favourite colours are red and black.
